The shouting was not far from us and I felt as though it was going to crumble away into nothing. We are more than enough to save her a cacophony whispered in the back of my mind. I felt that they wanted blood. Reyna stopped as she turned her hand to face me.
"Sunglow," she whispered as light poured from her hand and the thousand voices stilled. "You won't be alone when you go. This Light I'm giving you, although it will fade, will remain with you always."
It was the last thing I heard as I fell to darkness.
