"The coast looks clear. Alright, time to go."

Tiptoeing down the stairs, I made sure to tread lightly on the balls of my feet.

"Just a few more feet to go, and I'll be in the home stretch." If I could just get the door unlocked, it'd be a sprint to the fence. After a quick climb, I figured I'd be able to hunker down in the woods.

"Where do you think you're going?" Her hand grabbed my member, as the other pointed a pistol at my head. "Back up the stairs, now."

My family still thinks that I'm dead.
