About me:

I actually have two versions of this book. The original which I am in the process of retooling focussed more on one character and was titled "The Pom Pom Diaries" as each chapter ended with a diary entry from the main character's point of view. I still want to go ahead with that version as I really liked it and hope to publish that one someday. This version is focussed more on certain plot points that felt out of place in the other version but I still wanted to explore them in detail.

The original version I envision more as a series than a stand alone novel but I also did not want to start off on Amazon with a series just in case I found it was not the platform for me.

So far Amazon is very easy to use. I will have to see how it rates for sales in the future before I create a series. It might get complicated if I uploaded part of a series on one platform and then later books in the series are on another platform. Some platforms have different copyrights so you have to read up on what rights you have as an author. Are the works you upload to a platform in your name or do the rights now belong to the platform? if you choose to use another platform, can you easily delete the works from their site?
