This story of a rat inspired me as we overlook dangers set for others because we think of them as not harmful for us and ignore the fact that

“ What happens in our surroundings has access to reach our boundaries”.

After reading this story you will be able to judge different factors you ignored as potential threats to others and got harmed differently.

Snake is trapped

A rat lived in a farmer’s house, one day the mouse saw that the farmer and his wife were carrying a bag, and the mouse thought that there might be some food. On closer inspection, he found that it was a rat trap.

Sensing the danger, he went to the back of the house and told the pigeon about the danger that had entered the house.

The pigeon mockingly said, “It’s none of my business” That’s not for me so why should I be worried?

The disappointed mouse went to tell this the rooster

Rooster mockingly said… Go, bro, it’s not my problem.

The disappointed mouse told this to the goat… and the goat started laughing and frolicking. No one was ready to help the rat as it was not their problem.

That same night there was a rattling sound in the mouse cage in which a poisonous snake was trapped.

Mistaking its tail for a mouse in the dark, the farmer’s wife pulled it out, and the snake bit her.

When his health worsened, the farmer called the doctor.

The doctor advised him to feed her pigeon’s soup.

After hearing the news, many relatives of the farmer came to meet, and the chicken was slaughtered to provide food for them.

After a few days, the farmer’s wife died. There was no choice but to sacrifice the goat at the funeral to feed the visitors.

Till then the rat had gone far… far away…………

Conclusion: Can we ignore lurking threats in our surroundings? To be safe we need to protect all in our surroundings.
