Dela has a friend who cannot hear. They talk with their hands.

Dela has a friend who cannot see. She reads with her fingers.

If you know and I know, anything can mean yes or no -- a nod or shake of the head, a wink of the eye.

Red means stop, and green means go.

Dela and her dog talk with signs. She waves her arm. He sits. He barks. He rolls over.

Baby teaches Mommy signs.

From his look, his cry, his laugh, Mommy knows he's hungry, wet, or happy.

Baby knows lots, long before he knows words.
