Part 4(10)

Coco picked up the white wine in front of him and drank it down.

It was so spicy, it seemed like the entire esophagus was burning, Hanwen hurriedly handed coco a glass of water.

"Good drinker, old Xue, your daughter-in-law here is quite generous." Mayor Wang gave a thumbs up, and Coco smiled embarrassingly.

Then, coco began to feel strange, because it was agreed to eat, but almost no one moved their chopsticks. Soon, twos and threes toasted for an inexplicable reason.

Mayor Wang's wife sat next to Coco and talked with Coco cordially. In the eyes of this loving middle-aged woman, Coco seemed to see the maternal love she had always longed for. Gradually, Coco fell in love with this kind of "Chinese-style dinner" in Hanwen's mouth. Everyone looked so enthusiastic and drank boldly. Coco unknowingly laughed along with it, and his consciousness began to blur.

When I woke up, it was already the morning of the next day, my head seemed to be splitting open, and Xue Zhe beside me was still sleeping.

Coco tiptoed to the bathroom and closed the door. Stepping on the cold black patterned tiles with his feet without slippers, he dialed Hanwen's phone number.

"Hanwen, it's me." Coco said while clutching her still aching head.

"Coco, are you up? Do you have a stomachache?"

"It hurts, I wake up and don't remember anything."

"It's okay, you didn't do anything, you just drank too much. Such an occasion doesn't need to be too real, or it will be very hard."

"Hanwen, I don't understand why everyone doesn't eat? I remember that Uncle Wang's wife left my phone number and asked me to go shopping with her. She said that her daughter went abroad, and she felt very kind to see me. " Coco said while fiddling with the polished faucet on the sink.

"Coco, listen to me, don't take the initiative to call her, and don't talk about yourself when you see her again. She is not a woman to provoke."

"No, but I think she likes me very much."

"Silly boy, you don't understand, remember, don't take the initiative to contact her. Also, don't be so serious about drinking in the future, you have to learn to persuade her to drink."

"don't know."

"You don't understand a lot, I will teach you a lesson one day."

Coco hangs up the phone in bewilderment, still feeling the churning in his stomach, yesterday's dinner was really confusing.

"Who are you calling?" Ruby sat up slowly, leaning against the head of the bed. Covering his chest with the quilt, he looked at Hanwen who hung up the phone and began to get dressed.

"Coco, haven't you seen it?" Hanwen buttoned his shirt one by one in front of the mirror.

"Xiao Hanwen, what do you think I am? Explain to me!" Ruby suddenly raised the volume, breaking the tranquility of the morning.

"What's the matter, why do we quarrel when we wake up? Could it be that we can't do anything but quarrel?" Hanwen frowned and said impatiently.

"You have been busy with your work since you were with me. You always let me go when you make an appointment with me, and you agree to see my parents, but you forget the time. I am simply an insignificant person in your heart .” Ruby began to cry.

"Why can't you talk properly? Why are you always crying? My work is already busy enough." Hanwen began to tie his tie irritably.

"To you, I'm always on call. Why don't you find a lady?" Ruby angrily grabbed the pillow beside her and threw it at Hanwen.

Hanwen stared blankly at the usually quiet Ruby, picked up the pillow from the floor and put it on the chair.

"I'm a man, and I should focus on my career. I don't have that much time for romance." Hanwen began to explain patiently, as if he felt that something was wrong.

"I know, you are good to Coco." Ruby began to sob, and kept wiping the corners of her eyes with a tissue. "You are good to Coco."

"You are making trouble for no reason, you are unreasonable, she is my relative. You are..." Hanwen pressed back the word "shrew" that was about to be said, took off the tie that was wrongly tied due to the sudden quarrel, and put it on again. Knotting the mirror. But no matter how hard he tried, the dark blue boss tie was still not as obedient as usual.
