Seriously Sis!

That’s what you’re upset about

My sister and her husband take arguing to another level. I’m amazed at the lengths they’ll go to feel justified, vindicated.

This time my sister has gone too far!

My brother-in-law stormed out after their latest disagreement. Angrily tore away in his car, racing down the road enraged, he took the corner too fast and rolled his vehicle.

He now lays in a coma in ICU as we stand beside his bed.

“Are you doing okay Sis?”

“If only he’d put the dishes away this morning, none of this would have happened.”

“Seriously Sis! Stop being so petty!”

I was challenged by Jessica's Quill (Medium Writer) to write a drabble of the word 'window'.

Wikipedia defines a drabble as follows :

A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.

About the Creator

Colleen Millsteed

My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.
