SCP-513 was a mysterious object that had been discovered in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. It was a small, silver bell that emitted a faint glow and a soft chime whenever it was rung. Despite its innocuous appearance, the Foundation had deemed it a potential threat and had secured it in a containment chamber deep within their facility.

Dr. Emily Garcia had been assigned to study SCP-513 and try to uncover its secrets. She had spent weeks poring over its anomalous properties and running countless tests to understand its behavior. But no matter what she did, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to this bell than met the eye.

Late one night, as Dr. Garcia was working in her lab, she heard a soft chime coming from the direction of SCP-513's containment chamber. She rushed over to investigate and found that the bell had somehow managed to ring itself, even though it was securely locked away.

As she approached the chamber, she noticed that the glow from the bell was growing brighter and more intense. Suddenly, she was enveloped in a blinding light, and when she opened her eyes again, she found herself standing in the middle of a vast, empty field.

Confused and disoriented, Dr. Garcia tried to make sense of her surroundings. She could see nothing but endless fields of grass stretching out in every direction. And then she heard it—the soft chime of SCP-513.

She followed the sound, walking for what felt like hours until she finally came upon a small village nestled in a valley. The villagers looked up in surprise as she approached, and she realized that they were dressed in clothing from a bygone era.

As she tried to communicate with them, she discovered that they spoke a language she didn't understand. But as she pulled out her notebook and started to sketch out some basic diagrams, she realized with a shock that they could understand her drawings perfectly.

Dr. Garcia soon learned that she had somehow been transported back in time to a small village in medieval Europe. And as she spent more time with the villagers, she began to understand that the soft chime of SCP-513 had the power to transport people through time and space.

It was a discovery that would change the course of history, and Dr. Garcia couldn't help but wonder what other secrets the Foundation's mysterious objects might hold.

The Porcelain Doll

SCP-063 was a small, unassuming porcelain figurine of a rabbit, but it was one of the most dangerous objects in the Foundation's possession. Its anomalous properties were discovered when a collector brought it to the attention of the Foundation, claiming that it brought good luck and fortune to whoever possessed it.

After a series of experiments, it was discovered that SCP-063 had the ability to manipulate probability. Whenever it was within a certain range of an event, it could increase or decrease the likelihood of that event occurring. This made it a valuable tool for the Foundation, but it also made it incredibly dangerous.

The story begins with a group of researchers studying SCP-063 in a secure lab. They were trying to determine the exact range of its probability manipulation abilities, as well as any other potential side effects. One of the researchers, Dr. Lee, was particularly fascinated with the object and spent countless hours studying it.

One day, Dr. Lee's luck changed. He had been struggling with a personal problem for months and had given up hope of finding a solution. However, he noticed that whenever he was near SCP-063, he seemed to have a stroke of good luck. He won small bets, found money on the ground, and even got a promotion at work.

Dr. Lee became obsessed with SCP-063, convinced that it held the key to his success. He began spending more and more time in the lab, even sleeping there at night. He ignored the warnings of his colleagues, who had noticed that strange things tended to happen around SCP-063.

One day, Dr. Lee's luck ran out. He had been using SCP-063 to try and win a major research grant, but his calculations were off, and the object's power backfired. Instead of increasing the chances of his success, it decreased them. The grant was denied, and Dr. Lee was fired from his job.

Desperate to regain his luck, Dr. Lee stole SCP-063 from the lab and took it home with him. He continued to use it to try and change his fortunes, but each time he did, his luck worsened. He lost his savings, his friends, and even his health.

In the end, Dr. Lee realized that the object he had been so obsessed with was a curse, not a blessing. He returned SCP-063 to the Foundation, confessing his theft and begging for forgiveness. The Foundation was able to contain the object once again, but the lesson was clear: some things are better left untouched.
