Scorned
A college professor's lessons become tortuous
"I know, I know, it's devastating, believe me."
Cassandra Young was on the phone with her husband, Damon Young, and the couple were discussing the disappearance of one of Damon's students, Madison Brent, who was abducted from her home a week prior.
"I hope she's found safe. I've seen the news, her parents are so worried over her."
Cassandra hung up afterwards, but not before wishing Damon well. She was a professor just like her husband; in fact, they worked at the same college. It was at that same college that Cassandra saw Damon and Madison together, and one day, their togetherness had nothing to do with any form of schoolwork. She remembered how angered she was over seeing them, and she also remembered how elated she felt when she knocked out Madison and kidnapped her.
Cassandra walked outside the house and to a nearby shed, and after looking around to see if no one was anywhere close to her, the sinister villainess put on her full face mask and unlocked the shed doors before seeing a trembling Madison tied to the chair, uttering the following words after grabbing possession of an electric cattle prod:
"Now, Madison, where were we?"

A sinister and well written short. You had a great hook but the ending was a masterful piece of suspense.
