Drinking in Allan’s intensity like honey to a bee, Charlie takes both of his hands and holds them tightly.

“Does the shock value lose its strength if I say it again?” Charlie teased.

“No. Never. Repeat it,” Allan smiled.

“I..” Charlie whispered, licking Allan’s face.

“Really,” Charlie kissed Allan’s mouth roughly and then softly immediately after, making Allan whimper.

“Really,” Charlie nibbled on Allan’s neck, making him purr and get closer.

“Love,” Charlie whimpered as Allan started giving him a hickey on his neck.

Charlie looked at him seriously, “Cheeseburgers.”

Allan burst into laughter.

“You can’t joke like that!” Allan laughed, as Charlie continued kissing him on the face.

“I just did, honey, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

They kissed again, but then Charlie pulled away.

“Look, Allan. Shit, I need to ask you something.”

Allan sat up, looking confused. “Huh?”

Charlie caught on, taking Allan by the hand. “Oh it’s nothing bad. I just wanted to do this earlier at the restaurant but I think now it’s the right time.”

Allan nodded. “Yes?”

“So, remember when you first asked me to be my personal smiling friend?”

Allan nodded. “I do.”

“So, like, I realized all the times you tried to make smile, which were insane things to be honest, but I realized you were right.”

Allan cocked his head. “About what?”

“That making each other happy and smiling was important. You brought out that in me. Then, you took care of me. I.. wanted to take care you. When I was sick, you cleaned up my mess. When you were having panic attacks, we held each other all night. I know that it’s hard because for the longest time I rejected your presence because I was afraid, you know, because of my messiness, my anxiety, my anger… all of it, would be unbearable to anyone and everyone. But you looked at my grossness and thought, ‘Hey, I’m staying even if you throw up or yell or act like a stupid gorilla,’ and that meant more to me than I ever imagined.”

Allan was smiling so softly, so sweetly, Charlie could’ve sworn he was glowing.

“You give me the best smile everyday. You are someone who cares that I live healthy, that I live well. And for that,” Charlie takes out a small velvet jewelry case.

“Take it, that shit is for you,” Charlie said with a blush.

Allan opened it. Inside was a silver ring and a key with a keychain that had engrained on it: C & A forever ♾️

Allan jumped up and embraced him tightly.

“Oh my goodness Charlie! This is so beau-tif-full!!”

“You wanna move in with me?” Charlie asked. “Also that’s a promise ring. I swear your engagement ring will be nicer..”

Allan burst into tears. “Oh, Ch-Charlie. Oh my fucking God. You must… oh you’re so beautiful Charlie.”

Charlie laughed. “No one has ever called me beautiful. That’s sweet.”

Allan put on the ring, and kissed the keychain. “Yes. Yes! Yes!” He answered and they kissed again.

“Oh shit really?” Charlie blurted out, “you want to move in with me?”

Allan nodded, crying happily.

Charlie gave him a soft smile, “Careful your mascara will run.”

“I don’t care. I have you now.”
