In among all the bustle of the crowded, polluted, yet alive capital of a country somewhere in the world was a man who was struggling every moment of every day in his life, he was in a rich country though. He was one of the millions alike him sweating and bleeding from hard work not to have a normal life like many people around the world, but to just earn enough money to buy a loaf of bread and some vegetables to make something like food to fill his stomach. To put it simply, he was dying every day to survive his life-like misery. But what was the source of this misery for millions of poor souls rushing and sweating to survive in a rich land. You may think of a cruel king or a corrupted system. You are right; there was a cruel person on top evil desires to be powerful, rich and to face the world to prove their mightiness like all other stories. However, the people, those millions of miserable were guilty, too. Their sin was ignorance and blindness. They all were blind as if they have never seen the world. And they were ignorant to the power hidden within their very body capable of casting light to the world and there were millions of them. There was something missing, or someone. We call them heroes or superheroes, but are they real?

We define a hero as a supernatural or extremely strong being capable of doing impossible things like a piece of cake. But in real world, there is a different scenario. Our man was the hero in this story; a simple man challenging through his days to buy one loaf of bread every day of his miserable life. One day, hungry and tired of this infinite hardship called life, he was late to work; the same work that only pays him a pittance to buy bread in a country full of riches. The boss which was another bad guy in this story, fired him without a justifiable reason.

That was the moment, his moment; the moment of awakening. He thought to himself “I was happy with a piece of bread, yet it is too much for them to give me that.” And he looked around him and started thinking about his country and his people. Everybody was living the same miserable life as him without a reason, the reason was clear though. They were all sleeping under miles of despairs and hardships. Our normal hero figured out that if those people start to wake up like him, there would be no place for evil men which were ruling them with such cruelty. There wasn’t a day without putting people like him into jail or to take their lives because they were awake.

At that moment, our hero got the inspiration. He had absolutely no power to rise against the tyrant, but the crowd could have that power. He realized that people must be awakened at the same time and millions of them, not one here and one there. So he decided to find a way to awaken millions of people. He knew that he should give people an inspiration like Jesus did.

There was a very old and famous tree in that city which every single person in the city knew about it. There were some legends about that tree which it was in the city center for hundreds of years and it was planted by a legendary king who was just and fair. That ancient tree was like a monument for people of that city, even for the whole country.

The next morning people of the city saw it with their eyes or heard about it here and there in the city. There was a note carved on the ancient tree. This is the note:

This old tree which is a part of our history is the symbol of life like all trees on this planet. The tyrant on the throne of our country is taking innocent lives by a piece of rope. He takes lives to stay in power and become wealthier. I am one of the poor people of this city who are trying to inspire others to rise against this tyrant and regain their freedom as we were always a free nation. I thought I can’t get millions of people’s attention with my words. So, I chose this tree as the symbol of our life and freedom. One life is nothing in the battle to become free of all these chains. I hang a green rope on the biggest branch of this ancient tree and I call it the Rope of Life. As you might have understood already, I won’t be in this world when you read this note. My last word is for you not to die every day to survive this pity life one more day. Rise and earn your freedom even if you lose your dear life in freedom’s way.

The tree and the Rope of Life are still there after years. The man rests in a shining grave built next to the tree. That was the trigger for that country and even the world to be free of any chain. That was the beginning of a new era for the modern human. The era of using technology and science to have a happy world free of tyrants and weapons and of course war.
