It’s all the protection you’ve got.

Stay calm.

They probably aren’t even watching.

They think you’re dead - like the others.

Don’t.

Slip.

Up.

Hear crackling?

Wood surrendering to flames.

Don’t.

Be.

Wood.

Pick your moment.

Too soon and your feet are still tied. Too late and... No.

Stay calm.

Pretend the heat is sun.

The burning; lactic acid because you’re hiking.

On a mountain.

Where you’d be now if he hadn’t suggested a “safer” activity. “Relaxation retreat” my ass.
