The dust swirled through the town, empty but for two people: Axia and Desmond.

Desmond pleaded his case before Axia, "Please Axi, you don't know the whole story, just what you were told."

"And what, pray tell, is the whole story?" Axia snarled. "Don't give me some lines that you heard in a county song, or Hallmark movie lines."

Desmond had really messed up and the townspeople knew it. That's why they were the only two people out here at this moment. "You wouldn't understand. You never did."

"Any last words?"

"No."

The spell was quick, and Axia was alone.

There are scenes that play out in my head that need an outlet. Is practical for real life, probably not, but to free space I have to put the virtual pen to paper.
