She had hoped it would never come to this. She had to just walked into the situation. She didn't have all the facts.
But then again who ever truly did?
She listed off to herself everything she knew in the moment;
A mother called frantic.
A child was missing.
A ransome call was made.
25 minutes remianed.
The child was cowering in the captor's arms.
20 minutes.
No backup was coming.
10 minutes.
No transfer.
It was going to be up to her.
The captor moved.
She moved faster.
