The big electric ball was shot in our direction . We all instantly dived to the side of the cave and the electricity hit the sleeping Monster ! You could see small sparks emanating from the attack around the monsters body for a few seconds . A little smoke even came up off of the huge body . We all just stared at him shocked at what the insect warriors just did . I even thought to myself , I'm glad that didn't hit us . For a moment though , he didn’t budge . Then suddenly he got up and started roaring extremely loud . RAAAAAWWRRR! We didn’t stick around , we all instinctively took off . If that thing gets to one of us , especially in these close quarters . We couldn't guarantee anyones safety .

The insect warriors ran too , but they temporarily left themselves exposed to our attacks . We smashed half of them together as a group while running away . The other half of them escaped into tiny tunnels in the wall . I’m guessing that was their plan all along . After that we just kept running . Our plan was to lure the monster outside . So that we could gang up on it , and have space to move around . Also Visceroy was our ace in the hole with his tower staff summoning .

After 5 minutes of running we heard it . To be more specific we felt it at the same time . There were loud thuds and the ground shook every time the monsters feet hit the ground . All 7 of us picked up our paces without the need to tell each other . Wade and illdred took off ahead by flying ! I thought to myself , now that’s unfair . Rose looked terrified and the rest of us tried to look brave but we couldn’t hide our fear . 5 minutes later we made it outside . We saw our pair of bat soldiers waiting in their positions outside of the cave . They were in the air . At a far enough distance , in case the monster comes bursting out .

When we made it outside Visceroy yelled for us to follow him . He was running towards the forest as fast as he could . We were right behind him except for Wade and Illdred . When we got halfway between the cave and forest , we turned around . Visceroy told us to wait behind him . It was still daylight . When the monster popped up , it really just looked like a hairy giant . It was around 20 feet tall like I guessed . We couldn’t get a good look at his face because it was covered in hair . It seemed to be able to follow us without even seeing us . We were probably being tracked by our scent .

As soon as it tried to step outside of the entrance of the cave , Visceroy aimed his staff at the monster . By making it increase in size , he launched his summoned staff right into the monster crashing him back into the cave . John yelled . “ Woo hoo ! That’s what I’m talking about ! “ The plan was to keep hitting the monster like this while it has no opportunity to dodge . The monster roared again . RAAAAAWWRRR! Visceroy shrank his staff again until he was holding it . He was panting slightly so I could tell it uses a decent amount of stamina . This was going to be a battle of wills . Then it tried rushing out faster . Visceroy hit him again by enlarging his staff right before the monster could come out . Once again the monster got sent flying into the cave walls .
