Something was following me, it made my heart pound with a feeling of

dread. The sun was bright in the sky. I stood on a lonely street.

I took a hesitant step. I could feel it move, watching me. A murky

darkness out of the corner of my eye, right beside me. I walked faster.

I couldn’t outrun it, It was right there.

I stopped and looked to my left.

I heard a voice whisper, “ You can’t run from yourself.”

I looked down, and my shadow looked up at me and waved.
