Occupying A Wicky-Wacky World
Definition of a Whimsical Whirlwind
This week has been the wackiest one yet. The year is 2054 and I have been on a funhouse mirror, sprint, roller coaster, dungeon drop ride. First of all, the damn Queen of England den died and her own people on the news, slandering her. That’s wild. Weren’t there once days when people got thrown in the guillotine for things like that? Our people have more questions than we have answers. The first of which is: wtf is going on?
What’s going on in the universe? A girl I follow on IG predicted in a YouTube video in 2022 that some “big, bad news” was coming this September. To add cornmeal to that fish fry-- she mentioned this in the recording at the 44:44 time stamp. Welp! The day has come.
In other news-- tech is still in crisis. Our generation is either quiet quitting, getting laid off or both. We work from home, then work in our home after work. When we are not at work, we’re thinking about work. What we dream about when we sleep is life without work.
Here I am, sacrificing family time again for work. My generation---we are living through insane times. Everyone has indeed gone a little mad. However, it’s happening across the world, so this phenomenon qualifies as inclusive. The earth is spinning faster and its citizens are going bonkers sooner.
I don’t blame the regal lady for clocking out when she did. It’s bloody rubbish round here, governor!
