Nothing interesting here
A satire inspired by reality TV
Never call me again
<I hoped we still had a chance, but honestly, this is going nowhere> she said.
<Catherine, after everything we’ve been through, you’re pulling the plug? Why can’t we just talk this out? In person. You know I hate dealing with this shit over the phone.>
<You know what, you freak? Why would I even want to see you again? You clearly have a new baby mama!>
<AND I HEARD YOU GOT A NEW DADDY!>
Her voice turned whiny. <And how do you know that?>
<So it’s true? You’re leaving me because sweet little Catherine decided one dick wasn’t enough?>
<I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN, ASSHOLE!>
She hung up and blocked his number.
Rain poured down as she stood there sobbing, staring at her phone. She could have stepped inside, but she needed a moment.
She spent twelve seconds thinking about her hot “ex” boyfriend. His face. His body. His promise to take her out on his yacht.
She unblocked him and called him again.
<Hey,> she sniffled. <By the way… what happened to our love?>
<You mean this one or the other ones?>
He was still salty.
<I mean the promise we made to each other. To always love each other,> she said.
And especially the yacht, she thought.
<You’re right, my dear. We can get through this. I’m your Romeo, and you’re my Juliet.>
<Oh my God, that’s so sweet!> she squealed. <Wanna hang out later? Just the two of us?>
<Yes, I’d love to.>
