What will you choose to be this fine day? Your imagination can make anything happen.

How about a zookeeper? Yes, you are at a zoo. You can talk to the animals. They understand you and you understand them. That giraffe? You sense that she has a sore throat. You give her the animal equivalent of a cough drop and she nuzzles your face happily. That tiger? A cavity needs attention. You tell him you'll take care of it, and you do, with skills most people can only dream of. He licks your face in appreciation. Those male monkeys? Well, they're just horny. There's a fix for that in the female enclosure. You make a great zookeeper. There's fun to be had helping many animals. You make your rounds, taking care off every issue that arises. What a great day!

It's a new day. What will you be now? A race car driver is a good choice. Yes, you have designed your own car. It has technology beyond any available to other racers. As the race begins, you are the clear front-runner. Others make a play to pass, but you have no trouble shifting to prevent their efforts. You don't even need a pitstop when your opponents do. Your onboard computer tells you exactly when it's time for new tires. Your pit crew makes quick work of it. You easily maintain your lead. It wouldn't be any fun to win without some pressure though. Another car manages to surprise you by pulling alongside you on the final lap. You gun it and cross the finish line just inches in front of her. Yes, it's that female driver you've had a thing for. She flips you off and then winks. Maybe you'll get lucky. Another fine day!

What's your choice today? A circus performer? Interesting. You can juggle three, no four, no five balls. While riding a unicyle. Up and down a ramp. Add some pins. Flaming pins. Applause. You have the crowd on the edge of their seats. You land and take your bow, but you're not done. Next, you are on the trapeze. You flip and twirl. You throw and catch the girl, who looks remarkably like the driver. She IS the girl. In a moment of weakness, she slips through your fingers. No worries. She does a double flip and lands gracefully, as if it was intentional. You all take bows and the audience is on their feet.

What's next? Oh, it's stormy. Someone is in a stinky mood. You're a pirate at sea, tossed about by wild wind and waves. Your crew has abandoned you below deck, leaving you alone to secure sails and batten down the hatches. You're barely holding it together, yelling at the universe for these unfortunate events. The ship runs aground, throwing you violently to the deck. Two of your crew members emerge from below. You're livid. They will pay for the abandonment. Your sword makes quick work of them, having caught them by surprise. Their blood is sticky on your hands. Blood. Blood?

Nevermind, there's one more to deal with. He'll be hiding under his bunk. He pleads, "No, please." His voice becomes higher pitched. "No Daddy, please."

Memories rush back quickly. Their blood is on your hands. Your wife. The driver. The trapeze artist. Then your daughter and your son.

They were leaving. Abandoning you. You couldn't let that happen You don't want to remember, but you have no choice. The memories always return eventually.

What will you be on this fine day? When you're dead, there are no limits to your imagination.
