My Sarah. There isn’t anyone good enough for her.

“I never got to be fucking empress,” I grunted. Sarah shrugged.

“I’m sorry babe. Maybe when we go to this cool party my cousin is throwing tonight you’ll feel better,” Sarah said, smoothing out her hair in the mirror.

“Weren’t we supposed to go to that sick rave near that pub?” I asked, applying my lipstick thickly, blowing kisses at the mirror behind Sarah.

“Nah, I heard some people got food poisoning there. It was actually pretty bad,” Sarah replied.

“Fucking kebobs there are fire. I’m starved, bitch, let’s go get some grub,” I shove my arm around Sarah’s arm, jumping on the giant convenient koala outside to give us a ride.

“I’m your favvvorite baby koala that’s super-sized! Here to give yoooouse girls a ride!!!” The koala sang off-key as he flew to the pub.

“Ahh how cute!” Sarah cooed to the koala.

“Shut the fuck up, I’m starvvving,” I said and Sarah patted my head. I growled but smiled secretly behind my hand.

“Honestly I heard that rave is actually just a bunch of stoners trying to make some coin near the Dumpster,” Sarah said casually.

“Fucking hell Sarah. Are you still going on about that rave, I forgot about th—agh!!!” I screamed as the koala threw us off his back.

I landed on my butt thankfully. Sarah fell on top of me.

“Ooufffff!!” I felt my insides crumble and a few bones crack.

“You.. you okay Rachel? Agggh, my neck hurts,” Sarah whined.

“I like dumpsterrr parties,” I said with a loopy laugh.

Sarah looked at me confused and got up, helping me stand.

“Did you hit your head?” Sarah asked, looking me over.

“Nah. I’m just tired of all this nonsense. Let’s go get some food,” I said, wobbling and shaking a bit as I stumbled. Sarah swooped in and helped me stand up straight.

“Rachel, I’m concerned about you. You seem… like different. I think you did hit your head.”

Sarah looked at me with this hyper aggressive stare, checking my head.

“Oi! Get off!” I swatted at her. She smiled and shook her head.

“Oh Rachel, I think we need to get you help,” Sarah said sadly. “You got this massive bump.”

I sighed. “Really?”

She nodded. “I can’t in good conscience let you drink or do anything to hurt yourself.”

“I’m fucking fine, Sarah, let’s go party!” I started headbanging to music nearby. It was a garage band near the Dumpster.

“What a garbage garage band, ugh,” I said, feeling my stomach drop and something rise in my throat.

“It’s literally by the Dumpster, that’s funny,” Sarah chuckled.

I gagged a bit, coughing up a lump of mushy, upchucked brekky from this morning.

Sarah came rushing toward me and pulled my hair out of my face. “Oh dear. I might need to call an Ambo, Rach,” Sarah murmured, as her eyes met mine. I never seen her look so concerned.

It pissed me off. I got up and wiped my mouth. “Don’t be…” I was about to say stupid but that was the old Rachel. I don’t talk like that anymore. Especially to my Sarah.

“Oi you gals can’t be ova here! You two are seriously killing the vibe!” The bass player yelled.

Suddenly I opened my eyes to a red spotlight that illuminated the Dumpster and a brighter light that showed what looked like a huge outdoor space where there were at least a hundred people dancing.

“What the… the fuck?” I mumbled, feeling dizzy as I tottered over to the Dumpster.

“Rachel wait!!!”

I heard Sarah yelling for me as I stumbled onto the dance floor.

“What… what is this?” Sarah asked, looking at me confused.

I grinned, licking my lips. “A fucking rave. Let’s par-tay!!”

The lights turn down low when I noticed Sarah with her brown hair and soft glow. All I can see are her eyes. Looking at me. I’m Looking at her. Then I feel a convulsive sensation in my body, making my vision fade slowly into black.
