My Brain is a Sandpit

Metaphors can be used artistically, not just for insults

Picture a clay jug with a small opening, similar to a tea pot. This clay jug is only split in halve, figuratively, so the inside can be seen.

The jug that is being filled with sand seems large and is getting quite close to being full. It is a gentle stream that flows into the jug, occasionally some sand is larger than a grain. The larger pieces are dropped into what looks to be a boat on top of the sandpit and has quite an arrangement of large pieces. The words seem to gain momentum from falling down the spout to land in the middle of the sandpit.

Here comes one now, dropping into the boat and breaking the piece below it. Looking closely, that piece that had broken was once a word and broke off into two separate words. Term and Ology. It seems that the pieces of sand are words and the ones that are large are either a combination of words or they use a lot of letters. The boat is full of words. The new addition is Figuratively and it broke Terminology. The word In can be seen floating beside the boat, mixing in with the rest of the grains of sand that are all slowly sinking to the bottom.

Looking at the sea of sand that surrounds the boat, and looking at the cross section again, the level of the sand does not reach higher as we watch.

It is clear that words are constantly pouring in. It is clear that the words of this article are pouring into it. Why does this clay jug not fill to the brim?

The cross section of the clay jar rotates and is now at an ugly angle. The opening has been cut off, as we now look at the other end of the jug that was in the first cut out cross section.

Now it is clear that the crack is large in length and the small words are pouring through. How did a crack occur on the jug?

While looking for the suspect of the crack, the word Suspect dropped into the boat and exploded. It was misspelt, thus the explosion then it started to gather the correct words within the sandpit. While watching it regrow and sink at the same time, it leaves the clay jug quite quickly. Getting a good view just outside of the crack.

So, we now have two suspects. There is a foreign word clayed across the crack. It seems that the cracks occurred during some foreign language lessons and then used the words to fix the expansion of the jug. The second theory is the rock outside, it clearly smashed into the side of the clay jar.

The foreign language words are mostly outside of the jug, turning into dust. The suspected rock had crashed the word suspect.

The words needed to aver are filling the jug and exploding. The pressure from the unfathomable words which could not be spelt, are spilling out through the crack and cascading out then down the rock. The rock hints of a small movement.

Outside on the jug, a swirling of color is spiraling up, these colorful words are pulsating the clay jug like an over-worked muscle. Seeing the ink words swirling around on the jug is looking like the veins that bulge from limbs.

This imagery is now complete, and the subject of this art project needs some rest before the top blows off and makes the clay jug truly into a boiling tea pot.
