Small time for small crimes.

Our chains rattled as we were escorted to the sentencing hall. I glared at the back of my partner’s head as we sauntered down the corridor.

If I had them ocular-disintegrators, I’d blast his head right about now.

Little did I know, my desire was about to come true. Georgy “Little Slick” Bambino was his name and if it weren’t for his tiny mistake, we would’ve gotten away with the diamonds. Distracted, I barely acknowledged that we stood in front of the judge.

“Case number 523041, You are charged with Assault, Robbery, and…”

The job was simple, especially with the Shrink-O-Ray that Georgy bought from a “friend”. Except, Georgy botched it by buying some cheap knockoff. We barely made it out the keyhole before we re-enlarged.

*CRACK* slammed the gavel. “-two years. Bailiff, take them away.”

Two years, I thought to myself, small time for small crimes.

I glanced over at Georgy and to my surprise I saw him beaming a smile. At the corners were tiny bags filled with shrunken diamonds.

“Little Slick bastard…” I whispered.

Two years ain’t no thing, especially if we gettin’ paid.

*CRACK* Georgy’s head suddenly exploded as it turned into a geyser of diamonds.
