Mr. Shamji
Vocal Community Microfiction Series - Education
Mr. Shamji was in the middle of evaluating portraits when the door to his studio flew open.
"Sir!"
An emergency? Mr. Shamji jumped up but frowned at the sight of Jeremy. He was grinning from ear to ear. "What is it?"
"OCAD!"
The Ontario College of Art & Design! It was Mr. Shamji's turn to smile. "Well, boy, out with it!"
"I got in!" Jeremy bounced through the studio and collided into him. "I actually got in!"
Mr. Shamji laughed and wrapped him in a big bear hug.
"I told you so!"

I love it! Give it up for the teachers (increase their salaries too)!
Nice positive little story, Loryne, Well done!
I remember my students doing the same. I remember my own acceptance to theatre school - SO surprised! Nice job.
I remember those reactions well.
