Mr.Liu's Restaurant

Old Liu's restaurant is located in Wutang Village outside the Central Gate of Nanjing, not far from my house at the crossroads.

Old Liu is very dark and dry and thin, he is a disabled person, no legs, all day can only sit on a small four-square wooden board, four pulleys under the board, he relies on his hands on the ground to push to be able to move forward.

His restaurant is not big, only a few dozen square meters, the decoration is also very ordinary, but very clean, the appetite for food is also good.

Early spring of the year before last, my wife, daughter and I are afraid to cook, occasionally went to his restaurant, when we wanted four dishes: spicy chicken, green pepper fried shredded pork, hand-torn cabbage and Kung Pao chicken, I also drank two bottles of beer, full of wine and rice, my wife asked him to pay, who knows, Liu said with a big smile: "I have only the menu here, no food prices! On the way back, the three of us were talking about this humble little restaurant, feeling a little strange, a disabled person without legs, but still smiling so generously? After that, our family often think about this small restaurant, I also became a regular customer here, one is cheap, good appetite, the second is very comfortable to eat there! Seven years ago, he felt embarrassed to use the government's money, he opened such a small restaurant at the intersection, the government is very supportive, all the costs are free, he also said he did not want to earn too much money, as long as enough to live expenses is enough. The restaurant has been open for seven years, no customer is not satisfied with the return! Old Liu also said that he was satisfied to see people coming and going from all directions, entering the store with concerns and leaving with a smile! He told me that every night, he sleeps very well! All he does is dream! I never imagined that a disabled person could live in such a profound way! It's amazing and admirable!

Last weekend, a few more friends came to the house, and my wife was afraid to cook, so she said to me, "Still going to Old Liu's? Cheap, good appetite!" Daughter immediately called to order food, old Liu said: today full, no place to sit, please wait a while! Wife made a cup of strong tea for the guests, and took out the poker. Who knows, less than ten minutes, Lao Liu invited us over, the hall was full inside, which turned out to be a happy event. Seeing me, Lao Liu slid over from his four-sided wooden board and made a very funny "please" action, along with him, we came to his room, only to see the big double bed has been dismantled and put aside, we are surrounded by a temporary dining table made of desks, sitting on her lover's dressing table and bedside table. A few friends laughed: growing up, never had a drink in someone's room! Although some awkward, but the heart is warm! To be honest, my friends and I had a great time at that meal! And we drank a lot of wine!
