Once she perched on a branch so bright,

A mother bird with feathers so light,

She sang a tune with a heart so true,

Hoping to raise her chicks anew.

Her heart ached as she watched them grow,

With a love as strong as a mountain's snow,

She did her best to protect and guide,

For them to soar and reach the sky so wide.

But one day, a hunter's arrow flew,

Striking her down, a cruel thing to do,

Her little ones watched in fear and pain,

As she took her last breath and died in vain.

Her wings forever still, her voice no more,

Her babies now orphans, forever to mourn,

Her tragic end, a loss so great,

A mother bird's love, forever fate.

Once upon a time, there was a mother bird named Lily who lived in a small nest in a tree with her two eggs. She was known for her beautiful songs that echoed through the forest, and her kindness to all the creatures in the forest. Everyone in the forest loved Lily, and they all looked up to her as a leader and a protector.

One day, while Lily was out collecting food for her eggs, she heard a loud rumble. The sound got louder and louder until the entire forest was shaking. Suddenly, a huge tree fell and crashed into Lily's nest, destroying it and causing her eggs to roll out onto the ground. Lily rushed back to her nest, tears streaming down her face, only to find her eggs lying shattered on the ground. She was devastated, and all the creatures in the forest could hear her heart-wrenching cries.

The next day, the animals in the forest gathered around Lily's nest, offering their condolences and support. They helped her build a new nest, but no matter what they did, Lily's heart was still heavy with grief. She couldn't bring herself to sing anymore, and her once beautiful voice was replaced with the sounds of her sobs.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, but Lily's sadness never faded. The animals in the forest tried their best to cheer her up, but nothing seemed to work. They even brought her new eggs to take care of, but she couldn't bring herself to care for them like she had her own.

One day, while Lily was out in the forest, she came across a small bird who had fallen out of its nest. The bird was crying, and Lily couldn't help but feel a connection to it. She took the bird under her wing and brought it back to her nest. Slowly but surely, Lily started to care for the bird like it was her own. She sang to it, fed it, and protected it from any danger.

As time passed, the bird grew stronger and started to sing along with Lily. Her beautiful voice returned, and she started to feel joy in her life once again. The animals in the forest were overjoyed to see their beloved mother bird singing again, and they all gathered around her nest to listen.

Lily realized that even though she had lost her own eggs, she still had a purpose in life. She had the ability to bring happiness and love to other creatures, and that was what made her special. From that day on, Lily became known as the mother of the forest, and she took care of any bird that needed her help.

In the end, Lily learned that true happiness comes from giving love to others, and that the love you give never truly goes away. She will always be remembered as the tragic mother bird who found joy in helping others, and her beautiful songs will continue to echo through the forest for generations to come.
