This conversation happened on June 9, 2024 as Trump was getting ready to come out to his adoring supporters at the rally in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Hello, Donnie?”
“Yes, Vlad, I’m kinda busy here.”
“With what? It’s Sunday, I thought you’d be at home, relaxing.”
“I’m actually at my rally in Las Vegas, Vlad, and there are so many people here, Vlad, you can’t even imagine. So many people, and they all love and adore me!”
“Does that surprise you, Donnie? You sound surprised.”
“Well, yeah, it’s so hot here, a hundred degrees, and people still came out to see me!”
“Well, don’t they live in the desert, they must be used to it?”
“Of course, that's what everyone says here. But I’m not used to it, it’s really hot, I’m sweating like crazy in my suit.”
“Can’t you take it off?”
“No.”
“Why? Just stay in your dress shirt.”
“You know why, I’ve seen news about you doing the same thing lately.”
“Ah, the vest. I know what you mean. You can’t show people, especially your supporters, that you are wearing a bullet-proof vest.”
“Exactly. But at the same time, you can’t not wear it. Can’t be too careful, there are too many crazy people in this world! So many crazies, anyone can try and assassinate you!”
“Right? I know exactly what you mean, Donnie.”
“Anyway, what are you calling about, Vlad?”
“Just wanted to check in with you, Donnie. Did you watch the movie?”
“Which one?”
“The Apprentice, the movie we talked about just a couple of days ago.”
“Ah, not yet. Had no time.”
“Interesting. What are you busy with, Donnie?”
“So much, Vlad, so much! Fundraising, meetings, rallies. Tomorrow is my probation hearing, so I have to be back in New York. Can you believe it, Vlad, I have to report for the probation hearing! Me, America’s favorite president! Like I’m some low-rank white collar criminal.”
Putin, to the side, “But that’s what you are, a convicted felon now.” To Trump, “I can imagine, Donnie. Must be really hard for you.”
“Really, really hard, Vlad.”
“Well, I’m glad you are at least doing the fundraising, Donnie, and I see quite successfully after you got convicted. You remember you owe me money, right?”
“Sorry, Vlad, I have to go now. They just announced me on stage, so I must go. Talk to you later?”
“Sure, Donnie, talk to you later. Bye.”
After hanging up, “Sure, they announced you. You just don’t want to talk with me about the money.”
Trump, after hanging up, “How can I tell him I have no money and probably will never have it?”

Honestly, this is the only thing I'm reading to keep up to date with what is happening haha. I know it is comical, but I can't stand the 24/7 nonsense of traditional news anymore haha. Keep up the great work Lana!
