As soon as the sun set, the town's people locked their doors and windows. They knew what would happen next. The howls started, distant at first, but soon they were all around. The full moon brought out the beasts in the woods, and the townspeople were their prey. Every month, they faced this terror, but tonight was different. A young girl, fed up with the fear, decided to take matters into her own hands. Armed with a silver blade and her courage, she ventured into the woods. She returned victorious, with the head of the alpha wolf as proof. From that night on, the town was never afraid again.
