MHOS Part 24: Foreplay or a mating ritual

Before I can panic Alastor feeds me another bite of the heart before finishing the last bite himself and just when I think it was him being caught up in the blood lust of it all and wanting to move past it, he slides his bloody thumb into my mouth and orders me to suck. I swallow the flesh down that is still in my mouth and suck the blood off his thumb and as he slides it back out of my mouth he says "Good girl" and my heart is pounding in my ears. He shakes his head like he's snapping back to reality, stands up and he walks into the tavern, leaving me alone in the carnage.

I am lost in thought trying to figure out what this entire evening was about when my alarm goes off.

How is it 10:30pm already?

Ugh.. walking to Peaches after hunting for hours does not sound like fun to me.. but walking to the car is further and will take longer.. Either way.. I'm walking.. and covered in blood.. The tavern is right there but it hasn't been 4 days. I'm not going to use the tavern bathroom to wash up after hunting with Alastor if I am avoiding Husk. As I walk I notice that the dress dries and feels normal.. it's the blood on my skin that feels out of place and I am amused that my dress was prepared for cannibalism before I was.

I get to Peaches place and she says.. "Wow you're covered in blood today, the hunting must have been fantastic!" and I smile as I make my way to the bathroom and say "Yeah, actually. I went hunting with Alastor today of all people and it was actually a lot of fun!" Peaches sticks her head in the bathroom as I wash the blood off my arms and neck and says "Alastor? Radio Demon.. Alastor? That was you laughing along with him in the background on Alastor's radio show today?"

"He has a radio show and broadcast that? I didn't know he was broad casting, but yeah. We went all along Chaos and Predator Alley. It was a whole lot of fun! We even shared a heart at the end of it all." Peaches is fully in the bathroom now and sits up on the counter and says "Holy shit! Shared Cannibalism? With Alastor?!?" I turn off the running water and go to dry myself off and say "Uhh, yeah?" and she leaps off the counter and says "I knew there had to be a reason he didn't like you and Husk together!"

I follow her out of the bathroom confused. "What are you even talking about?" I ask and she spins around to face me and says "Shared cannibalism is a sexual act! Not everyone eats flesh! But those who do and share a meal together? Do it for the enjoyment.. It's like foreplay or a mating ritual."

We climb into bed and she curls up, like a good little spoon and says "Well.. Good night" acting like what she told me isn't information that will keep me up tonight. I stare off into space as I stroke her hair and then she begins to fade into nothingness & I am left alone with my thoughts.

Alastor does not think of me that way.. that's impossible.. he's spent his days threatening me over Husk.. but Peaches already said that.. Alastor doesn't like me being with Husk.. and just spent hours with me.. on a killing spree.. as we licked the blood off each other.. Have.. I been.. Have we been cannibal fucking all day? I REALLY need to read my lore book..

I leave Peaches home and start walking down Chaos to find my car. After a bit of a hike I found it. "Oh thank fuck" I say out loud as I reach the car and get it. "Never leave me again Gary" I say as I start the car and head home to start reading the Siren lore book. I get home and run myself a bath and slip into the water to read and it feel like I'm home.. Comfortable in water, reading a book above it.. In a quiet space of my own. a few moments of normal until I hear a knock at my door. Who could be knocking this late at night?

I get out of the tub, unplug it, and wrap a towel around myself to go downstairs and check. I open the door and it's Husk.. with a to-go bag in his hand. "Alastor said you'd be hungry tonight." as he walks into my home. I open the bag and I can smell the burger platter and my stomach audibly growls. Husk chuckles at the timing and says "Eat up. I heard you two went hunting together & that you kept up quite well. Hunting with Alastor is not for the weak."

I grab the burger and take a gigantic bite out of it and will my mouth full I say to Husk "So much for our 4 day thing" and he says "I didn't want to spend 4 days without you walking into my bar anyway." as he turns around to take me in his arms and stuff a fry in my mouth before carefully kissing at my overflowing mouth and putting a giggling me back down. He enters the kitchen and makes a couple of long island ice teas and hands me one.

As I take it and gratefully take a sip Husk asks "Why would Alastor be okay with us being together after having a problem with it up until now?" I swallow down what's in my mouth and say "I guess a killing spree really brings serial killers together." Husk chuckles and says "Oh yeah? I guess you should have done that sooner." and I look at Husk preparing for a reaction as I casually reply with "And eating a man's heart together helped too.. it sorta.. bonded us." Husks head indeed shoots up and he says "Oh wow.. I didn't realize you were a cannibal too.. And you shared a heart you say?" I nod casually as I finish up the last of the burger and say "Yeah. Then Peaches informed me that shared cannibalism is a sexual act and I was like.. well that's going to make things awkward. But here you are.. feeding me a burger platter.. that Alastor asked you to deliver after hours, I'd say that's a pretty good outcome"

"So he made me your delivery boy so you could tell me all about your feeding together" I chase the last of the burger with some more iced tea and say "Heyyyy now.. Mister delivery man sir.." Trying to sooth his worries "Thank you for all this meat, but I couldn't possibly afford it all.. Is there another way I can pay for my tab?" I ask as I crawl into his arms, wrapping myself around his body. He kisses me back and holds my thighs as he carries me upstairs and says "Well we DO still need to break in that sex room of yours" and smiles at me as I stretch up and kiss him passionately.
