MHOS Part 17: Alastor is watching (Day 4)

"That's not what I was expecting when you said you were going to take full advantage of me last night" Husk says as we leave the house with a box each of things I plan on moving to my underwater home. I smirk at him as we load the boxes in the trunk and say "Well what were you expecting?" As I close the trunk full of waterproof weapons and storage containers.

Husk leans in and growls in my ear "A whole lot more of what happened in the shower and a whole lot less of what happened in the sex room"

I giggle playfully. "I'm just a girl, I couldn't do it all by myself, I needed you & your big strong arms." I say as I boop him on the nose "and besides.. everything in that room was Gary's.. uuughhh.. we don't know how old it was.." I get full body shivers & finish with "or how clean it was.. it all had to go.. All of it." Husk snorts in amusement and we get into the car and drive down Chaos crescent so I can get Husk home before work.

We park in his driveway and he helps me bring my boxes of stuff to the shoreline so I can take it to my home under water. Husk goes to walk away when I grab him by the back of the pants and pull him back to me, he turns around smiling and says "I can't follow you home from here" I grab the collar of his shirt, pull him close thank him for helping me clean my house and kiss him, he thanks me for the ride home and kisses me back, a faint purple glowing ring falls down around us, fading into nothing as it touches the ground below. He smiles back at me once as he turns to leave and I watch him walk away for a moment, content, before returning to the task at hand.

I puncture the containers with my talons and hook them together with some nylon rope puncture a few holes on each container so they will sink as I swim down and dive into the water. As I passed by the hostel I noticed that none of the shelves were occupied by the same people anymore, I only spent one night away, it must get pretty regular traffic. I continued on past the little shopping square and as I headed for the caves I grabbed a handful of rocks for the last three caves.

Cave number 1

Clear!

I do a sweep and help myself to the decorations, there are some beautiful little knick knacks, a cup with an automatic stirrer that has a moss ball spinning itself into a perfect sphere inside it, a shell framed mirror, some cute blue green algae string lighting! Jackpot! I pack it all in one of the bins and swim off to the second cave.

Clear!

I enter and find some gorgeous seashells and seaweed drapes I could never find on the surface. I packed it away in the second bin and made my way back out to test my luck with the third place. I approach and toss a pebble in aaaand.. Nothing!

I enter the cave and find some beautiful glass bottles and jars that have that blue green algae in it and collect them all.. My new under water home will be fantastic. Everything a seductive serial killer could possibly want.

I swim back to my cave to see the trench coat still hanging by the cave entrance. I enter the cave and begin decorating it with all of my found and foraged treasures to make it feel more like home. I placed the mirror on a clay formation on the ground making it into a mirror top table. I placed a few of the bottles and decorative jars on top of it to reflect the light they created to really brighten the place up.

I hung the string lights around the cave entrance along with the seaweed curtains to show that someone lives here and to give me some privacy from the outside world, then I swung a steel ax at each side of the cave entrance and it dug in deep beside the entryway. I tied some seaweed onto them and turned them into a under water curtain holders to be beautiful, slightly terrifying & functional.

When I looked around the cave after I had finished decorating, I was happy with how it was starting to look. I grabbed the trenchcoat since it wasn't specifically designed for underwater & the dress I arrived in hell in and put them in my duffle bag to return to the surface.. satisfied with my under water get away so far.

I turned around and swam back to the surface, making my way to Husks place to pick up Gary and head back over to Peaches place when I saw a black shadow with antlers standing by my car. The moment it spotted me it faded inside of Husks place and Alastor walked out.. Eyes laser focused on me..

I think I might be in danger.. again.
