MHOS Part 11: A night with Husk
My Hazbin Origin Story

Alastor is tall. His smile is menacing. His eyes are locked in on me. I didn't notice his antlers until they grew right in front of me. My heart started racing, it was pounding in my ears. I refused to let him see how terrified I was. I placed my hand on my throat, lowered my eyes, and returned his smile with one of my own. "My, my, my. So possessive. I promise to return him when I am done."
Alastors eyes narrowed "Like you did they two men lying dead outside my tavern? Or the two you left for dead in the woods?" he asked.
Husk hears this attempts to stand between Alastor and I, as Alastor looks for answers in my eyes, I burst into laughter. "THOSE men were predators, I was just doing what Sirens do where they were concerned. Husk.. is like.. dessert.. for a job well done. You see, I don't unwind.. with a drink.. at the end of a long days work" Husks smile returns & Alastors antlers shrink back down. He steps aside humming disapprovingly at my answer and closes his mouth. A thin, slightly judgmental smile as he nods at Husk who closes the distance between the two of us.
Husk puts his arm around my waist to usher me into Gary's passenger seat, I give him the car keys, and I look back at Alastor and say "Can Husk take me home now?" as Husk was already going for the drivers seat.
He didn't stop Husk from getting in the car. He instead, rolled his eyes, turned on his heel, and walked into the dark, closed tavern alone.
We had our answer. I don't know if I earned a little respect there, or if I had just had a very real brush with death, but we were on our way out of the parking lot.
Husk pulls onto Lust Lane approaching Chaos Crescent and says "Where do you call home?" I turned in my seat to face him, grabbed his open collar and tugged a little as I leaned in and whispered "I didn't ask him if you could take me to MY home." Husk chuckled and began driving me back to his place.
We arrived at a cottage, small, but nice and by the lake, which I can totally check out in the morning! I can apparently breath underwater, and live underwater, which is perfect, I look forward to testing that out and doing some more exploring tomorrow morning. For now, Husk is opening my car door, and I've got butterflies in my stomach.
He walks me to his door like a gentleman, then as he fumbles with the keys in his hand he realizes that they are mine, so they won't fit his door. As he goes to awkwardly hand me back my keys I grab him by the collar pull him into me and kiss him again, pressing my body against his front door, listening to him fumble to get his key in the door. I hear the key unlock the front door and I turn the knob, walking backwards into his place, the distance of doing such, ending the kiss.
We walk into his place forgetting all about those few awkward moments, focusing on the present moment. Husk asks if he can get me a drink I ask him where he keeps his pitcher. He grabs an empty pitcher and hands it to me as I am running the water in the sink to fill it with already. I tell him to get 2 glasses and we walk to his living room. I pour the glasses of water, hand him one and we each take a sip before setting them down.
"I've never had someone serve me a drink before." as he looks back at me. "I've never had someone save my life like that before." as I pull Husk on top of me.
