Kendra yells out to Mega through the rear window of John’s car, “Let Mega Go!” Natasha replies, “Don’t be so dramatic darling. John, let me lead you to a safe place and I’ll explain everything.” John slows down to follow behind Natasha’s car. Joe asks John, “Can we trust her?” John replies, “Mega is with her, so we have no choice.” They arrive at a private air hanger and get out of the car. Kendra’s hand begins to glow neon blue and grabs Joe’s hand.

They follow John towards Natasha and Mega waiting by the stairs to the private jet. John says, “Natasha, let them go and we can discuss this.” Natasha replies, “My dear John, this is NOT about you anymore. I’ll explain on the way.” They follow Natasha onto the jet. John notices a person in full robes seated in the corner. Kendra whispers to Joe, “What’s going on in the back corner? John leans his head between Joe and Kendra to whisper, “She’s a Kowack channeling her power to conceal the jet.” While walking to the cockpit, Mega turns to Natasha and says, “Are you sure you would rather have a mere mortal as a pilot?” Natasha responds, “You’re the ONLY mortal I’d trust as my pilot, darling.” At that moment, a stewardess appeared from the rear cabin to provide flight instructions and take dinner orders.

Once the coordinates are locked up and the jet is in the air, Mega engages auto-pilot. He enters the main cabin where Natasha is uncomfortably pinned to her window seat trying to hide her fear by staring out of the window. Mega takes the aisle seat next to her and puts her hand in his. Her body begins to relax as he gently caresses her arm. John shouts, “what is going on here?” Kendra finished his statement, “We demand answers!” Mega lets out a long sigh, looks over to Natasha and gives her back her hand. Natasha stands and pulls up her hair to reveal a dark purple marking glowing on the back of her neck. John questions Natasha, “You’re a …?” She replies, “Kowack. Yes! If you are not lucky enough to be born a Mastifi, you must dedicate your life to practicing the Mastific Arts. Kendra asks, “Why aren’t you in robes, like her?” Mega replies to Kendra, “Natasha is a Master Kowack and has decided to grace us with her presence.” Joe notices a figure floating outside Natasha’s window.

The sky suddenly becomes cloudy. As Mega runs back to the cockpit, he yells, “Put on your seatbelts!” The jet begins to shake as if jostled by turbulence. The stewardess reappears from the rear cabin and locks the door. She turns her back to everyone. Joe notices that she has the same dark purple glowing mark as Natasha. He nudges Kendra and points his chin towards her discreetly. Kendra notices the mark and looks down to her hand. Joe traces Kendra’s glowing marking and whispers, “I wonder why ours is different? Why does the marking change color?” Just then, Kendra’s marking turns black and begins to pulsate. The entire jet fills with a thick fog. The jet door rips open and slams shut. John, Kendra and Joe are searching the fog to see what is going on. They hear fighting coming from the rare. Mega shouts, “These Gliders are everywhere, can I get some help here?!!” They hear Natasha’s heels moving towards the cockpit and the door shuts and locks. She inhales deeply, raises her head, opens her palms into the air. After a few minutes, John, Kendra and Joe hear a loud clap and the fog clears. The gliders no longer have the cloud cover to hide their ambush.

They all seem to disappear below the jet. Natasha rips off her blazer and yells, “Come Now!” John, Kendra and Joe run behind Natasha to a hatch door in the floor that leads to the lower cargo hold. As they turn to climb down the ladder, they all notice the Stewardess standing with one heel on the chest of the Kowak rebel that snuck in the jet door. He bears the same mark as Natasha, on his forehead. The Stewardess gives them a wink and dusts off her shoulders. Before the Stewardess could close the door to the hatch behind them, Natasha and John begin battling against more Kowak rebels that snuck in through the landing gear. Natasha waves her hand upward and the hatch door pushes back open. John shouts, “You two go. We’ll hold them off.” Joe and Kendra climb back up to the main cabin. Joe looks down and sees Natasha’s eyes begin to glow dark purple to match her marking and her hand closes to shut the hatch door.

The Stewardess, Kendra and Joe run to the cockpit to check on Mega. Kendra notices the fog returning and the Kowack Rebels are now holding hands forming a ring around the jet. The Stewardess says, “You go in, I’ll stand guard.” As soon as Kendra opens the cockpit door, she sees Mega trying every button and switch on the dashboard to prevent the jet from entering an open portal in front of the jet. Time and gravity seem to stop for a second. Before Kendra could finish saying, “What the…?” She is cut off by a deep raspy voice in her mind that says, “You are all welcome to Kowack City my brothers and sisters. The Mastifi’s appearance is a long awaited event.” Mega, Kendra and Joe all stare at each other. The air is suddenly still. No turbulence. No fighting from down below. Nothing.

Just then, time, gravity and sound come back all at once and they are now flying over Kowack City. The jet controls begin to move on their own. Mega raises his hands slowly and carefully gets up from the pilot’s seat. The Stewardess opens the cockpit door and explains, “It’s ok guys.” She points to the robed Kowack in the back corner and says. “Kimani has the controls. She’s working on getting us out of the portal.” Natasha and Joe return from down below. The Stewardess looks over to Natasha and says, “The channel may be stronger if we join hands.”

As everyone walks towards each other to join hands, they hear the same deep raspy voice over the loudspeaker this time. “You disloyal zealots disrespect me and refuse my invitation. Learn the hard way that the only way is my way!” Kendra whispers under her breath, “Who are you?!” The deep raspy voice responds, “I am Chuvan!” At the moment, Chuvan appears in the middle of the circle. A force throws everyone out of the circle. Joe throws his arms around Kendra to shield her. Kendra wraps her arms around Joe. As soon as the marked palm touches the hidden marking on Joe's back, the entire jet disappears from Kowack City and reappears on the field of Mega’s compound. They all run off the jet to see if they were really back on Earth at Mega’s compound.

At that moment, they all hear the deep raspy voice of Chuvan pause their thoughts, “Impressive for a Mastifi, but you can’t evade me that easily!” Chuvan appears in front of the jet on the lawn. He shouts, “Master’s plan requires them alive!” Kowack rebels begin flying down out of thin air, as if slicing into this dimension. Fully robed soldiers appear out of the ground, as if they climbed out on steps. Kendra and Joe lock eyes and take a deep breath. Natasha yells to Kendra and Joe, “You are the Mastifi. Let your power flow!” They stand up back to back and lay their palms facing each other, just as the Kowack did in the back corner of the jet. They both moved their hands in a circular motion, then clapped simultaneously. Suddenly everyone was thrown back across the field. The Kowack rebels that appear out of the sky are walking above them as if they are walking on an invisible building. Mega looks over at Kendra and says, “Yes, you are the Mastifi! All the sacrifice and years of training are for this moment.” Natasha adds, “Kowacks are merely vessels for you to absorb and transform energy for good, for the preservation of life.” John takes her left hand and they all join together until the last to hold her right hand is Joe. They all kneel before her in service and stand. They unwaveringly lock eyes in the center of the circle. They unlock hands and begin to form various hand motions. While waves of Kowack rebel soldiers are being thrown, a few are trying to weaken their force field. A fog ascends over the field. Chuvan waves his pointer finger downward and a massive thunder bolt strikes the Mastifi’s dome of protection. Kowack rebels are above the dome pulling their fists upward as if pulling water out of the ground. The dome begins to quickly fill with water. Natasha’s eyes begin to glow as she pushes her hands downward, causing the water to recede. The Stewardess whirls her pointer finger in a spiral and the Kowack rebels begin to whirl off of the down and get picked up into a tornado of wind that whirls into a portal closing behind them. Chuvan notices Kendra’s and Joe’s eyes begin to glow neon blue and their hands are squeezing. Everyone’s thoughts are stopped by Chuvan’s evil raspy laugh. He chuckles. John’s eyes begin to glow the same neon blue as Kendra’s. Joe, Kendra and John all move their hands in unison in a choking motion. Chuvan begins to gasp for air. Mega’s eyes begin to glow the same dark purple as Natasha’s and his right finger makes a circular motion in his left palm. The Kowack rebels guarding Chuvan turn around to face him. The Stewardess holds out her left palm, grabs the air with her right fist and pulls it down into her left palm. Chuvan drops to his knees. As Kendra’s, Joe’s and John’s lips begin to move, a voice that is familiar only to Chuvan projects from the mouths of his guards. Chuvan’s eyes begin to widen as he realizes who the voice belongs to as it says “For Centuries, your human greed has known no bounds. The Mastifi have lived throughout the universe in harmony until you left us no choice but to bestow only one worthy human with the Mastific Power, so that our ways may remain sacred. You have stolen our beloved city and claim it as your own. You continue to corrupt and manipulate your brothers and sisters for your own selfish gains. For these crimes against humanity, you must be punished.” Chuvan lifts his knuckles from the ground and jumps to his feet in one motion, while yelling, “I am simply the executioner. But my master has the true power that you seek. The revolution will continue.” He forcefully raises his palms and everyone surrounding is thrown away from him. He holds his hands out, curls his fingers into his palms and pulls his hands towards his chest. The entire dome of protection is ripped into mid-air with everyone in it. He yells, “Mastifi, you are no…” Before the words could leave his mouth, Kendra disappears from the group and reappears before Chuvan. Everyone’s thoughts are stopped by the collective voice of the Mastifi saying, “I may be no match for you, but we, the Mastifi, are match for anyone against us!” She opens her arms and looks deep into his eyes. Chuvan’s black power begins to turn blue as it transfers to Kendra’s body. When she closes her eyes, Chuvan falls limp to his knees. His eyes roll back and revert into normal human eyes. Kendra closes her fist and Chuvan is bound in shackles. Her Mastifi projection returns to her physical body. After she rejoins the circle, Mega, Natasha and the Stewardess begin to glow neon blue, like Kendra. They all tilt their heads backward and everyone on the entire field begins to glow neon blue, as well. Kendra sits on the ground with her legs crossed. She breathes in slowly, while raising her palms and snaps from left fingers.

Before everyone could blink, the entire compound was lifted and placed in Kowack City as if it belonged there all along. When everyone opens their eyes, Joe, Kendra and John drop to the ground. Mega and Natasha rush over to check their pulse and blow out a sigh of relief. Everyone stops glowing. Mega and Natasha look down at themselves and embrace each other. Guards and medics from the compound arrive to help Kendra and the twins. The Stewardess kneels down to Natasha and whispers, “Natasha, release me. We have incoming on all sides.” Before the Stewardess could walk away, Natasha grabs her arm and replies, “You may not be able to return.” The Stewardess responds, “Rested, Never at rest!” Natasha returns the saying, “Rested, Never at rest!” Natasha presses her thumb on her wrist where her pulse should be, but instead her skin opens to reveal a control panel. Natasha enters a code to reveal the Mastifi projection of the Stewardess. Her human shell drops to the ground. Natasha points to the Mastifi projection and explains to Kendra, “This is her true form. She can no longer return to a human body, so she uses this AI body instead. Chuvan and his Master are the only ones that can block powers to limit Mastifi abilities. I use my power to help contain her in the AI body. Kendra replies, “Isn’t she free to be herself here?” Mega responds, “Well no, the Mastifi are from a distant galaxy in another realm. This place is really a gateway to their realm. Once the Chuvan helped his Master gain the Mastifi secrets, they sealed the gateway so that no one could be more powerful to challenge them.” As Joe and John regain consciousness, they notice a blue ghost-like figure moving through wave after wave of Kowack Rebels approaching the compound. As she moves on to the next, the previous Kowack Rebel drops to the ground powerless. Kendra tries to get up, but is too weak. The cleansed Rebels begin to gather around Kendra and the twins. They start to hum and glow in unison. The tune sounds familiar to Kendra and the words flow from her lips. The hum gets louder as the fallen Kowack Rebels are revived.

Suddenly everyone’s thoughts are silenced by a new child-like voice saying, “Chuvan welcomed you with open arms on my behalf, but you so disrespectfully declined my invitation. We could have worked together. You leave me no option, but to take what I want.” Kendra whispers to Natasha, “We're supposed to take orders from a child.” Natasha replies, “Don’t be deceived. That is NO child. Auren has been alive for millennia, watched the extinction of his own race, watched civilizations rise and fall around him, got bored and began conquering galaxies.” Mega adds, “Since Auren learned of the Mastifi, his main goal has been to conquer and absorb all of our power to maximize his own potential.” Auren snapped his boyish finger and appeared in front of Kendra. Before his feet could touch the ground, Kendra used her mental powers to place him inside of a floating bubble. As Kendra tries to stand, the twins grab her hands and they all rise to their feet together. Auren’s voice booms in their ears, “You can’t hold me!” Auren whirls his finger around in a circle while his body begins to hover in the center of the bubble. The surface of the bubble begins to spin fast enough to pick up the objects surrounding it. Joe rubs his hands together and separates them to reveal a bright blue flame. He throws the fire towards Auren and it whirls around the bubble melting the other loose objects swirling with it. Aurens cracks a smile. John closes and reopens his palm downward to reveal dripping water. He closes his fist around the water running from his hand, whips it at the rotating bubble like a whip to slow the spinning and the melted matter begins to harden. Auren is so caught up in his own hubris that he didn’t realize that Kendra removed the clear force field bubble that was his protection. The swirling water solidifies the melted matter as Kendra molds it into a spherical cage surrounding Auren. The heavy metal ball immediately drops to the ground, knocking Auren to the ground. He Holds out his arms and screams, “You can’t trap me like some pathetic…” Before the words could leave his mouth, Natasha claps and says, “rat!” and the metal ball fills with large ravenous rats that begin to snap at his flesh. While shedding his boyish body, Auren smiles and says, “I like you!”. The rats begin to gag and drop to the ground as if poisoned. Auren’s body switches into a monkey-like creature with four paws and hangs upside down from the top of the ball by his tail. His eyes focus intently on Kendra and the boys while all four hands are forming various figures in the air. Mega begins to jump and scratch uncontrollably. Natasha grabs his hands to help him stop scratching before his skin begins to drip blood, but she starts scratching and scraping at her own flesh even worse. The Stewardess jumps into Natasha and her eyes begin to glow bright blue and her scratches begin to heal. While her body hovers off the ground, she turns her head and realizes that the trio is linked and everyone is levitating. She winks at Kendra and the Stewardess jumps into Auren’s body. Kendra’s thoughts are silenced by the voice of the Stewardess saying, “Auren is the last of the original Mastifi, but don’t let his size or age fool you. He is very deceptive and has already allied with the enemy to wipe out all Matifi opposing…” Everyone’s thoughts are silenced by the screams of the Stewardess. Then Auren’s voice takes over, “You thought you could spy on me eh?! I’m keeping this one. Don’t even think about harming me while we’re together.” I’ll let you stare at her face to remind you not to mess with me.” Auren reads the Stewardess’ mind and then reverts to her human form to taunt them. Everyone descends slowly to the ground and their eyes stop glowing. Mega orders his guards to transport Auren and the sphere to the underground lab on sub level 100. Kendra whispers to Joe, “I didn’t even know we had a sub level 100.” John interjects, “You’re not supposed to know there’s a sublevel 100.” Once they have it secured for transport, Natasha insists on staying with the sphere in case the Stewardess is able to communicate. Mega approves and they both follow behind.

A medical escort suddenly appears out of thin air to transport the trio to the Mastifi suite for evaluation. The twins automatically pull out weapons on the medical escort. Kendra nearly jumps out of her skin and shouts, “Whoa, lady you can’t sneak up on people like that! Guys, it’s ok. She’s a medic.” The twins put away their weapons and apologize to the medical escort. She accepts their apology and says, “Please follow me. The trio agrees and follows behind the medical escort to a new wing of the compound. While walking, she explains, “You’ve expended a lot of energy and need to be replenished. We also need to ensure that your physical body is in good health.”

When they step into the threshold of the building and the doors close behind them, Kendra is immediately stunned by the view around her. She is surrounded by space. Each step further into the room, is a step closer to stars, moons, planets and galaxies. The twins are just as astonished but wary about moving forward. They each grab Kendra’s elbow. John whispers, “This doesn’t feel right.” John whispers, “I don’t trust her.” Kendra looks around, “Where is everyone?” Their thoughts immediately silenced by the calm voice of Auren whispering, “How do you like the view? After centuries of living I picked up a trick or two.” Just then, the medical escort inserts her keycard into the control panel at the other end of the room and the doors lock behind them. Before Kendra could finish asking, “ Did she just do what I think she did?”, an announcement from the control panel confirms that the medical wing is on lockdown. None may enter or leave. Suddenly Kendra faints. The twins drop to her side and start checking her vitals. John looks up at Joe and says, “Bro, your left eye is glowing.” Joe responds, I see Kendra. She’s laying on the bed and you walk in a lay on top of her.” Joe blinks and jumps up and yells, “Oh NO!” John replies, “Hey, don’t stop. You’re getting to the good part!” John states him deep in the eyes and says, “Don’t even think about it!” John laughs and says, “Oh, I’m just kidding. Lighten up!” John says to Kendra, “Wake up, Ken! It’s just an illusion. Kendra begins squirming and moving her body as if she is pushing someone front on top of her. John grabs her arms and tries to prevent her from hurting herself. John continues, “Ken, come back to me. Remember when we met that night at the lake. Remember when we camped out in the woods surrounding the compound.” John looks up at Joe and says, “I still can’t figure out how you got past the mine field between the woods and the compound…” Kendra sits up and says, we climbed the trees until we got past the mine field. She leans over, hugs John and says, “I like you.” John pulls back and Kendra starts laughing but Auren’s voice comes out instead of hers. Joe holds her hands and can see what Auren sees. John notices Joe’s eye glowing again. Joe says, “I see Kendra, sitting down in a pit filled with snakes freaking out. John grabs Kendra’s other hand. Joe says, “John, what do we do?” John notices a carving on the wall above her head saying, “Remove her, she dies. Replace her, we live.”

The twins hear Mega say, “No one is going to die!” The twins look up to see Mega and Natasha standing before them. Natasha’s eyes and the veins around them are turning black. She doesn’t even turn her head from their direction as her fists close at her sides and the medical escort’s body is contorted and she falls to the ground. Joe and John look at each other, then look back at Natasha. Mega looks at them and says, “Auren can’t be the only one with tricks up their sleeve. What’s going on?” The twins hold out their hands for Mega and Natasha to join them. They all see Kenrda in torture just being surrounded by the live snakes crawling all over her. They all release hands and look up at each other. John says, “How do we wake her out of the dream?” Natasha replies, “She’s not in a dream. Auren has trapped her in a mind maze.” Mega adds, “But the only way to do that is to be inside her body.” Joe replies, “The fantasy makes sense now.” Joe adds, “The kiss makes sense now!” Kendra sits up, looks everyone in the eyes. Everyone’s thoughts are silenced by Auren’s voice saying “You can peep all you want, but I’ve got her now!” Kendra’s head rolls back and a deep hearty laugh comes from her body. The twins grab her as she passes out again. Worried for Kendra’s safety, the twins look up at Mega and Natasha and say simultaneously, “Now What?”
