Code is everywhere. All of the time frittered away at looking into store windows didn’t bother him. He didn’t think it was a problem. He didn’t see himself as a potential candidate for being part of martyrdom to time. He instead relished the hours of waste that he saw fly by like blackbirds.

He wasted his time with creativity. It was as if he were training himself to be resilient against the seconds, minutes, and hours that made up the day. He reached out his hand and it turned to sand. An hourglass filled to the bottom. Joy came when he did this.
