The season finale of ‘Manifest’ embodies everything a perfect finale should have. The show’s creators have tied up all the loose ends that viewers had witnessed in previous seasons. It’s worth mentioning that the final season consists of twenty episodes that are divided into two parts. While the first ten episodes of Season 4 Part 1 are now available on the streaming platform, the second part will be available at a later date. These ten episodes serve as revelations, providing answers to why certain things happened in the first place.

The season commences with Ben’s tireless search for his kidnapped daughter. He can be seen carrying pamphlets and sticking them to places that might draw people's attention. Meanwhile, Michaela visits a port after receiving a ‘calling’ and finds Henry Kim, one of the passengers from Flight 828. Vance and Saanvi continue their work from Eureka on the secret investigation into 828. Cal and Olive, now grown up, are struggling with the trauma of losing their family. This season also shows that the entire Stone family is now living together, and Zeke is a constant source of support to them. His counseling ability proves to be of great help in maintaining sanity in the family. The series also introduces a separate branch of law enforcement whose sole task is to monitor the activities of the passengers on Flight 828. Passengers are required to check-in monthly and answer questions, the most prominent of which is whether they are experiencing hallucinations.

This season's beauty is that, in addition to the Stone family, it focuses on characters who were largely ignored in previous seasons. The ‘callings’ are now more pronounced, and the season carries a darker tone as the characters race towards their approaching death day. Fortunately, the writers have ensured that each character has a well-defined journey. Compared to previous seasons, this one is slightly more fast-paced, and events happen quickly, keeping viewers thoroughly engaged. In retrospect, it seems that everything is connected, which can only be attributed to excellent writing. More than a mystery, this series is about ordinary people coming together to work on a common cause that is extremely difficult to comprehend and decipher. The show has now entered a phase where everything will be novel and will move towards a satisfying conclusion. The series' 'Da Vinci Code'-like clues are undoubtedly a highlight of this season.

Melissa Roxburgh, who plays Michaela, and Josh Dallas, who plays Ben, are both in fine form, with Dallas delivering a near-perfect portrayal of an exhausted father consumed with grief after the kidnapping of his daughter. JR Ramirez, who plays Jared and Michaela's ex-fiancé, also delivers a credible performance. Daryl Edwards, as Vance, and Parveen Kaur, as Saanvi, fit perfectly into their respective roles.

If you have followed the previous seasons, Manifest season 4 part 1 is a must-watch. It is both better and more refined compared to its previous seasons. The events of this season unfold like a thriller film, with events happening in quick succession and not giving viewers enough time to catch their breath. Brace yourself for another cliffhanger towards the end of Part 1, apart from a tragic death.

The final season of 'Manifest' delivers a perfect finale, wrapping up loose ends from previous seasons in a satisfying manner. Divided into two parts, the first ten episodes of Season 4 Part 1 are full of revelations and answers to long-standing questions.

The season opens with Ben's relentless search for his kidnapped daughter. Meanwhile, Michaela receives a 'calling' and visits a port where she finds Henry Kim, a passenger from Flight 828. The season also explores the trauma experienced by Cal and Olive after losing their family, and shows how Zeke's counseling helps keep the Stone family together.

One of the standout features of this season is its focus on previously neglected characters, along with more pronounced 'callings'. The darker tone of the show is enhanced by the approaching death day of the characters, but each character is given a well-defined journey. Compared to previous seasons, this one moves at a faster pace and keeps the audience thoroughly engaged.

The writing is excellent, with the various plotlines interconnecting like pieces of a puzzle. The show's themes revolve around ordinary people coming together to work on a common cause that is difficult to comprehend and decipher. The 'Da Vinci Code'-like clues that are scattered throughout the season keep the audience engaged and guessing.

The performances are top-notch, particularly Josh Dallas as Ben, who captures the exhaustion and desperation of a father whose daughter has been kidnapped. Melissa Roxburgh also shines as Michaela, and the supporting cast delivers solid performances.

Overall, 'Manifest' Season 4 Part 1 is a must-watch for fans of the previous seasons. The events unfold like a thrilling movie, with one event following another without giving the audience a chance to catch their breath. However, brace yourself for another cliffhanger and a tragic death towards the end of Part 1.
