Ritu was certain that she was in love with Sahil, but she was still afraid that the same thing would happen again. What if history repeats itself? Ritu fell in love with Sahil without any hope, and every day Ritu mentally prepared herself for the thought that one day Sahil would leave her. Yet, as time passed, Ritu and Sahil grew closer. It was already hard to imagine being apart from each other. Ritu couldn't believe Sahil was truly going to marry her.

But now, Ritu is getting married to Sahil, and while she is dressed in a bride's gown and looking in the mirror, she still believes she is in a dream. Ritu and Sahil have been together for 7 years, but Ritu cannot believe that Sahil has never mentioned leaving her, that Sahil has never stopped Ritu from being friends with other boys, that Sahil has never demanded money from Ritu, that Sahil has never tried to get close to Ritu without her permission, and that Sahil has always said that we will get closer only after marriage. Ritu used to feel like listening to Sahil many times about how Sahil did not want to be near Ritu because of her past. But, in the night after the wedding, Sahil clarified Ritu's misunderstanding.

Ritu used to think that if Sahil had gotten her sooner, her life would not have been as complicated. With their mutual understanding, Ritu and Sahil appear to be made for each other. Ritu's past has flashed in front of her several times during the last seven years, but she has not made the mistake of going back in time. Rahul apologises to Ritu several times and tells her how his karma has caught up with him; Priya betrayed Rahul in the same way that Rahul betrayed Ritu. Priya formed a relationship with Rahul's best friend, and Priya abandoned her. Sumit wanted to reunite with Ritu after learning that she was in a relationship with Sahil. Sonu apologised to Ritu for his mistake, but he still refused to make the promise to marry.

If she had desired, Ritu could have avenged the ancient wrongs. But Ritu forgave them all because it was Karma who brought Ritu to Sahil in the end. Ritu had forgotten her painful memories of the past, but she could never hate Rahul, Sumit, or Sonu. It didn't mean Ritu loved any of them; it simply meant that Ritu was so pleased with Sahil that the presence of all these individuals didn't bother her.

Yes, Sahil is the one whose smile makes Ritu's entire day of tiredness disappear. Yes, Sahil is the one in front of whom Ritu does not need to act in any way. Yes, Sahil's face is the first thing that comes to mind when Ritu closes her eyes. because Sahil is the only one who understands Ritu's heart. Sahil was not Ritu's first love, but he was Ritu's last love, and Ritu was very proud of him. Ritu was no longer the Jhalli Ritu who used to cry over the situation; Ritu was now a mature working lady standing in front of the mirror in the bride's pair today.

Ritu's journey was not as easy as it sounds in this storyline, and Ritu knows what happened for good. Ritu experienced numerous close moments with her previous fellows, but the emotion she had with Sahil was altogether different, completely fresh.
