Gracie was amazed at how far she could see. The hills and trees stretched forever and looked like Mother Earth had tucked them into bed with a fluffy white blanket. She wondered if there would be something interesting between the two hills she saw down below. The rocks going down the side of her hill looked easy to climb. Curious, she started down to see what was to be found.

Once Gracie finally reached the bottom of her hill, she had trouble finding the next to climb. However, she could barely hear her parents arguing and wanted to continue to explore.

Soon, Grace realized her feet were cold and she was tired. She turned to go back to climb her hill when she realized she did not know where she was. The trees, which seemed magical earlier, appeared dark and cold now. She could not hear anything but the crunch of the snow as she swayed from foot to foot.

A massive white beast seemed to materialize in front of her. It stood like a man but was twice as tall as her dad and covered head to toe in fur. It then stooped down, looked her in the eye, and motioned for her to follow. She was not afraid and followed.

The search crews found Gracie the next morning. She was curled up on a bundle of dry leaves and asleep. No one seemed to believe her story, but Gracie knew she was saved by the giant furry friend.
