Many days of late she spent by the door. Looking into the room she couldn't bring herself to enter. She had selected the floors and paint.
Had laid it all out to be just so.
Now it sat empty.
The contents removed piece by piece. Each found a new home.
One thing she could not let go.
It was to be worn on the way home, instead the tags hung from the fluffy pink dress.
Closing the door, she had to move on.
The love she felt hurt, a reminder of all she couldn't give.
