Note: I wrote about the events of last Monday, but I think that I am still processing what this city and myself have been through. We have had the funerals, the protests against incel culture (whatever they might think it is), discussions on gun culture and violence, and the possible causes of these events...
And then life continued as usual...
I will say that some of you have been very kind and asked if I'm okay. I feel I am, but I also feel that I need to write something about it. I have the bare bones of a book review and other pieces in my notes next to me, but they seem redundant until I get this out. It is a drabble, and it is something that I will have to keep in those same notes before I type it here. I am following the idea of the manifestos these shooters always seem to have. It feels as though it deserves to be tactile and visceral.

So, yeah, uh, before things go down I just wanna say that I don't trust the government and that we should have real men leading us instead of all these bootlickers who think that we should all be welfare queens. And women should also try to give nice guys a chance, especially if he gets a new suit and buys you dinner. And I hope my mom understands because all of you are gonna judge me for this but there ain't nothin' else I can do about this and that I better start and I'm right, I'm right, I'M RIGHT!
