Kyle couldn’t scream, she had gagged and tied him to a chair.
“I'm going to love using you... Just like them.” Marly motioned to the wall behind her.
Panic set in as he saw horrific photos of men and women, most of them missing people he’d seen on the news.
“You should have gone home to your wife. But then, she wouldn’t be there, since she’s been unfaithful too. Did you know, you two have the same taste in women?” His eyes found his wife’s photo and fainted.
“Like calls to like, after all,” she whispered.

This road has felt endless, yet limited; every step tracked. Inching away along this path, I feel trapped. Confined. Left to this narrow passage that may one day amount to something greater. Time is not a concept. Only distance. From start to finish, I laugh and cry and attempt to convince myself that this is worth it. I cannot stray. I must keep going. Every step etched, is a step taken, is measured as more than before. I cannot even recall how I got here. Maybe I don’t even really exist. Just another tick marking off a perceived presence. Of what though? I am just another line drawn. Nothing more, nothing less.

Kite watched from the corner, the good looking guy in the perfectly tailored suit. He was expensively and expertly coiffed from the way his closely cropped black hair was styled down to his shined to it’s hilt expensive black Italian shoes. Not a thing was out of place, not the bespoke grey suit that had been tailored to fit his body and was very flattering on his lean muscled physique, the bluish checkered shirt thoughtfully picked out and then the Tag Heuer wristwatch around his wrist which she caught a glimpse of as he checked for the time, putting an ensemble like that together hinted at wealth. She bet herself a million bucks which she didn’t have, that he carried a Mont Blanc wallet. Being a professional at reading people, it was clear that he reeked of big bucks.
