Let's see where this goes

There is a chapter 1 - still just writing to see where it goes

I angrily walked away with my shoulders slumped, accepting defeat. I left the parking lot and walked into my apartment building and stood impatiently waiting on the elevator. I was relieved when it finally opened. I got in and quickly pressed my floor number.

When the elevator opened on my floor, there was a commotion that seemed to be coming from the apartment opposite to mine. As I approached my apartment, I couldn't believe my eyes, the same moving men I saw downstairs were arranging furniture and boxes in that apartment.

This couldn't be! Why of all the apartments that arrogant fool had to move into, it had to be the one opposite to me, why? I kept my head down and entered into my apartment. I showered, made something to eat and did what I usually do and cuddled up in my blanket. But to my surprise, I could not immediately fall asleep.

All I can think about was those gorgeous brown eyes. 'What was wrong with me?' I thought. I must have finally drifted to sleep, because I awoke to noises coming from outside my apartment. As I sat up on my bed, the sun hit my face as it shun through an opening in the window.

I was still a little tired and also relieved that it was Saturday, and didn't have to go back out to work until Monday. I stood up and went to the front door. As I looked through the peep hole, I saw nothing, but could still hear loud noises. It seemed to be coming from the apartment opposite mine. 'Of course it was,' I thought, he's not only an arrogant fool, but also an inconsiderate jerk.

I proceeded to brush my teeth and take a shower. I then changed into a t-shirt and shorts. By the time I finished changing, the loud noises were now accompanied by even louder music. 'I would not allow this,' I thought. I stepped out of my apartment and angrily knocked on the door of the apartment opposite to me.

There was no reply, but I will not be ignored. I resorted to full blown banging on the door. I could hear the music suddenly being turned down as footsteps approached the door. When the door finally opened, I was ready to unleash my fury, but once again froze at the sight in front of me. At that moment, I could not find my words.

He stood in front of me, water dripping down his chiseled muscular structure, looking at me with those gorgeous eyes and wearing a towel wrapped around his waist. I could not stop staring. "Why are you so rudely pounding on my door?" he finally said, with an irritating smirk on his face. This was the moment I snapped out of my daze and said, 'how dare you disturb my peaceful Saturday morning?' He then looked straight at me and said, "oh did I wake you? Instead of complaining you are free to come join me, and if not don't think for a second, that you can dictate what I do in my apartment." As he said that he proceeded to slam the door right in my face.

Who does he think he is? Okay no problem. LET'S SEE WHERE THIS GOES."
