Once upon a time, there was a peaceful moment when the human world and magical world lived together. Magical creatures fancied staying near humans and trusted them with their lives. The oracles of the realm had nothing against such a down-to-heart relationship, and so, laws against were never implemented. There was a wicked man that thought he could conquer both worlds and use magic to feed his own greed. In consequence, he earned the trust of some magical creatures by promising to give them protection and power if they obeyed him. Thus, they entrusted him the power that was keeping the magical land alive. They foolishly handed him that power without thinking how this greatly endangered everyone’s lives. One of the deceived creatures left to secretly seek for help. The poor being found two travelling mages that kindly listened to its story. They decided that it was better for both worlds to find a suitable hero or heroine and so they departed in their search. Soon the awful human was able to become stronger and stronger gaining an army of magical creatures to accomplish his dreadful dream. The oracles found themselves in a delicate situation where they had to restrict the exits from their realm into the human world. Magic was not able to be used on earth again until their hero awakened to save them and maintain the balance of universe. Our hero is somewhere in the human world to be found by the two hardworking mages.

It was a warm day when she decided to hang out downtown. She got ready, putting on her favorite dress, her favorite perfume, checked her make up, and off she was. As she got out of her building she immediately felt the fresh air coming into her lungs and found herself getting a breath in. ‘The air is deliciously fresh!’ she said to herself. ‘ This is such a nice day!’ she added as she took the first steps outside the building. She wandered around aimlessly enjoying her well-deserved free time. She went to her favorite café and bought herself a coffee-to-go. Her hands turned slightly red from the warmth of the coffee and she loved this feeling. She continued strolling downtown and admired both the old and new spots from every side of the street. She observed people doing their usual thing and paid attention to their clothing styles as she usually loved to do. Suddenly, she found herself in a not-so-familiar place and went to explore it as curiosity has won her over. She decided her feet would need a little break, so she had the urge of sitting down somewhere. But as she was looking around she saw no suitable resting place in her surroundings.

She left a deep sigh, but as she turned around her eyes widened at the sight of an old bench. She started a thinking battle in her mind, ‘ Okay, but last time I checked this bench was not here, to begin with. Oh, maybe I was not watching carefully. Whatever, I need to sit now!’ , and so she did. She sighed again, yet this time feeling relieved that she could take a rest. After spacing out for a few well-cherished minutes she found herself craving for something she saw through the window of a pastry shop. She was biting her lower lip wishing desperately for two, chocolate filled doughnuts. She soon heard the wind swirling near her which made her turn around to see what was happening. Miraculously, she found two chocolate filled doughnuts nicely decorated with strawberry candies, appearing on the bench right near her. She stared blankly at it for a few seconds only to jump away from the bench. ‘ Aaaah!’ she screamed as she drew attention from random people passing by, so it was wiser of her to just put up a smile assuring them nothing weird was going on. As soon as she found herself alone again, she picked up a tree branch, carefully reaching the mysterious box of doughnuts as she started poking it attentively. She tried slapping herself to find out whether this was real or not and she disappointingly confirmed this was real. She took the doughnuts into her shaky hands hoping they were not poisonous, yet she gulped on them breathlessly because she was too hungry to think.

She was bound to leave after she rested well to continue her stroll, but not before taking a last look at the odd bench. She didn’t want this rather perfect day to end because this was one of the rarest moments when it was so warm. The sun rays playfully caressed her face almost feeling like they tickled her. Time passing by made her realize that darkness crept around her. She peacefully retreated home seeing everyone surrounding her did the same. As she turned another corner she realized the streets had become quieter, and bits creepier, only some weak lighting poles guiding the way. ‘ Pfft, it’s always like this when it gets dark. I hate it.’ she nodded to herself as she hurried to get in her neighborhood faster. On her way home, she was still thinking about that weird incident with the doughnuts trying to figure out a real reason for that. Each one of her possible, logical answers was worse than another so she decided she would better forget about it. As things never happen one’s way, she realized things were a bit different in her neighborhood than usual. She looked around carefully and she thought to herself: ‘ Okay, maybe I turned the wrong way and ended up in another neighborhood’. Only that it was her neighborhood. Suddenly she heard a few voices mumbling as if they were quarreling but could not be heard too well. Usually, she would run away from the scene as fast as possible, but instead, she was drawn to it. She paced forward and hid herself behind the corner just to get closer in hope she could hear something.

‘ I thought you were going to sort this out’ , said an elegantly looking woman in a high-pitched voice.

‘ I said I will. For God’s sake, woman, stop nagging.’ , as a tall man dressed in a mystical robe with fluttering long hair hushed her.

‘ I’m trying to be the only serious person here. Thank you.’, scoffed the mysterious woman.

‘ Fine, fine. Step back. ‘ he replied as his partner hid behind his back.

The girl automatically stepped back as if she was the one told to do so.

‘ By my authority, and permission of holy Universe, I command Light to come to my aid, ‘ shouted the man and suddenly everything became darker than it was.

The poor girl glued herself to the wall behind her shutting her eyes as tight as she could. She tried processing the events to which she was a witness, but could not believe anything.

‘What about Leora? What do we do with her?’ , the woman raised a questioning eyebrow to her partner.

‘ I’m sure we are going to find her somehow.’ , he nodded to himself.

She was startled at hearing of her name and thought it would be ideal now to run away. She tried turning back only that she made the greatest mistake of her life and stepped on some small rocks that were knocked over.

‘ What was that?’ asked the woman in fear of being discovered.

She didn’t make a sound as she prayed she won’t be heard again.

‘ Reveal! ‘ shouted the man.

As soon as he finished reciting the incantation a purple light started glowing around the girl that was gasping in fright.

‘ Leora! But how… Why did you end up here?!’ , asked the man in pure surprise.

She did not answer.

‘ Answer, woman, for God’s sake!’ said the woman desperately.

‘ I, I swear, I, I was coming home and, and, how do you know my name?’ , she started stuttering while trying to answer.

Both the bizarre man and woman stood silent blinking frequently as they had no way of how to reply.

‘Flash!’ ,cried the man and in the blink of the eye the girl appeared in front of the man as he took a strong grip of her hand.

Leora struggled to release herself from the grip, but it was impossible to break free.

‘ Good! You got tired. Now, listen. ‘ , he paused as the scared girl ceased struggling and listened.

‘ We were looking for you. Nothing to feel suspicious about! ‘ the girl doubtfully raised an eyebrow, ‘ We are something close to what you, humans, call wizards. But rather than being ordinary wizards, we make use of the four natural elements: fire, water, wind, and earth. We were searching for you to bring you to our Master and help us fulfill the Mission. ‘ the man explained in a serious tone occasionally spacing out.

‘ E-excuse me, sir, but…h-how do you know my name is Leora?’ said the girl as she stuttered on her words.

‘ Everyone knows about you from the legend. You are an amazingly popular one in our realm. Everyone wants you.’ the mysterious man added.

‘ Wait. Realm?! Wants me? I’m nothing but a boring girl…’ she replied in amazement.

‘ Realm of all magical creatures, my dear, Luxintia.’ the man shouted so hard that scared the poor girl.

‘Luxintia is where you two belong? But then why are you here?’ she doubted.

‘ Well, dear, we are here to fetch you. We need you to help saving the world that is in great danger!’ exclaimed the woman.

‘ Danger? I would think you are the only dangerous people so far and if you excuse me I would like to go home. Thank you! ‘ she prepared to leave but suddenly she felt that she couldn’t move as the wind stopped her from doing so.

‘ We beg you. Please, listen. If you don’t you will die too. Don’t you care?!’ the woman argued as she clung to Leora.

The girl had a few, long minutes to think before answering.

‘ How can I trust that you don’t try to kidnap me? Some people can trick innocent ones so well nowadays’ Leora asked.

‘ Uhm, you have seen us acting with magic. That is one solid proof our story is true..’ replied the man with a sort of annoyed tone in his voice.

‘ How do you think I will be able to save you all when I don’t have any sort of power?’ she asked again carefully.

‘Ohhh, but you do have a special power. You are just still not conscious about. We will tell you this once you come with us to the realm.’ Said the woman piercing into her eyes with a glare.

‘I will come with you, but first, don’t try anything funny, and second I will need to tell my parents something about my absence or they’ll worry..’ Leora finally decided.

‘ Oh, don’t worry. We can fix that!’ replied the man eagerly.

So, the mysterious man and woman opened up a portal to the other world and grabbed Leora by the wrist again and they disappeared into a whole new and unknown adventure not knowing what would await our gleaming heroine in this peculiar world.
