Playing in them

In our youth we used to enjoy playing with leaves. When did that stop? Adults don't do that anymore. The pass it on as mere child-play. But why cant' we continue that tradition, it is so much fun. I suppose it is because as adults we don't have the time or the intuition anymore. It's a crying shame that we can't invision play-time anymore. They should put up adult centers were all is play-time and nothin else.

Today's word is bemused: puzzled, confused, or bewildered.

I was bemused when i saw all the leaves and nobody running through them. What is this world coming to. All we do is work until we can't anymore. Squirrel!

The dew was rolling down the windshield as the sun was sucking it up at the same time. They left trash all over the place like it was meaningless. It was swirling all over the place. Like they didn't want to pick it up. Although it did look mystical in a way. Just turning and running would not be an option. They were smoking buddies to say the least. It sure is getting windy over here. Time to light another one.

I'm surprised no-one has said anything about me writing over here. It sure does pass the time. Instead of being hunched up in my room doing nothing as the day passes by. Motionless and full of pent-up rage. There are a lot of dogs in our building, they also help pass the time. And it is nice to pet them. Even if they do not want to be petted. They give us a joy that we sometimes don't possess ourselves. They also seem to light up the situation.

The shoes tell us a lot about our soles, do you like that pun? I do. Hunched over with total annihillation. Feeding our mentality as if it wasn't there at all. "Thats a nice hat you are wearing," said Steve, he liked it a lot. It was a whirlwind of leaves as i was watching you walk away. Trying to get my writing grove back after taking a day off is what Steve's friend was thinking.

Disturbing my piece of mind. It's what happens when you lose your grove. But it can be brought back in no time. As long as you believe in yourself nothing will stand in your way. Tonight was no exception as he worked past his paralysis. Shortly it would pass. And it would bring him to a different stage in his life. People are always busy passing up oppurtunities that are right there in front of them.

Let us keep playing in the leaves and pass all of our adult foolishness aside. It would be healthy for us to do that. But where would it leave us? Only our minds and time will tell. Something that we have seemed to forgotten. Or just left behind in the jumbled world of adulthood. It will skitter by if we let it.

As children we suck up to our parents, but not when we don't want to. As adults its' the other way around we suck up to our kids to please them and also teach them a lesson. But does the morale disappear when we do that. Only seeming to destroy the lesson as it goes along the sandpaper grit of society.

We can't blame everybody for our missteps. We could blame ourselves but it would not make any sense. What in the world happened to you and us as a team? Maybe our misfit minds will let us play again in the leaves.
