Even if it’s not your idea to do so, chances are that you’ve said or done something to someone else at work that you now regret.

Or maybe you know that you’ve caused someone else grief because of your shortcomings.

When you feel uncomfortable about how a situation played out, take a second to take stock.

You could always apologize. Or you could try to talk it out with the person who you hurt.

Acknowledge that you’re the first person to have seen the situation from their point of view, and give the other person an opportunity to apologize as well.

You might even research something from the experience.

You Don’t Have To Go It Alone

A certain self-sufficiency is good. But on the give up of the day, we’re social animals.

We’re wired to connect with other people, especially in a group setting.

There’s a healthy balance between being self-sufficient and depending on others, which is the basis for friendships.

In our workplace, we’ve shared countless hours of inspirational stories, drawn from the very best of human nature.

This is the cornerstone of all genuine friendship, and it’s the essence of the circle of trust that we establish throughout our relationships.

Work with someone who helps you become better as a person and helps them to grow as well.

A friendship based on respect and compassion is one that can last the test of time.

You Can Never Force It

It can take some effort and patience, but you’re much better off breaking a relationship when you’re both ready.

Just because you were dating for a long time doesn’t mean you should continue seeing the other person romantically.

For many reasons, breaking it off after a certain amount of time is best for both of you.

It can be a good feeling to move on and start anew.
