She was always calm but never at night, where the demons would find her fears and engage in her fight or flight. So she would dance away the pain during the day on her porch. The rotted wood would support her fetish for dancing as she heard the music in her head. The soft notes would change and speed up, as her caramel skin touched the damaged and haggard wood.
Her red dress was draped at the bottom and flowed in the air like butterfly wings, as she closed her eyes and danced with the sun all day. Her hair was the color of fall with highlights of amber, mahogany, and golden. As she danced it would move with the formation of her hips and waist. She was a sight to envision. Her neighbor next door, would peer out his window everyday to watch her dancing the day away. As the day turned to night, she frown at the sky, then smiled and waved at her neighbor, and retreated to her home, her safe haven, til the sunlight awaken her inner child with pure delight.
