Kang the Conqueror, also known as Nathaniel Richards, is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics universe. He first appeared in Fantastic Four #19 in 1963 and was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby.

Kang is a time-traveling villain who comes from the 31st century. He is the ruler of the empire of Chronopolis and has a vast array of technology and weapons at his disposal. He is known for his desire to conquer different eras and timelines, often clashing with the Avengers and other heroes of the Marvel universe.

Kang's origin is tied to the Fantastic Four's Reed Richards, who is also known as Mr. Fantastic. Kang is revealed to be a descendant of Reed, who becomes obsessed with his ancestor's time-traveling abilities and eventually becomes Kang the Conqueror. He also has a complicated relationship with his counterpart from another timeline, Immortus.

Kang's character has been explored in various storylines and adaptations, including the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated series and the recent Avengers: Endgame film.

Kang the Anti-Hero - A version of Kang who has turned away from his conqueror ways and uses his powers for good.

Kang the Avenger - A version of Kang who has been wronged in the past and seeks revenge on those who have wronged him.
