Just Watch Me...🎹!!!
~~Another Microfiction Piece Inspired By An Annie Lee Painting!~~

The following microfiction piece that I wrote entitled, "Just Watch Me!" was inspired by the uber-fabulous visual artist Annie Lee's lovely 2003 painting titled Rhapsody In A Minor.
Just Watch Me! by Tiffany Gordon
Hi,Â
I'm Maybelline-Mckenna, and I'm ten years old. I have a twelve-year-old brother named Bronzer and a fraternal twin sister named L'Oreal. I was the baby of the bunch for ten years until my twin brothers, Baby Revlon and Baby Fenty, came along and snatched away the crown on New Year's Day of this year.Â
I'm still getting used to not being the youngest. As the middle child, I hope I don't begin to feel overshadowed like Jan Brady from the Brady Bunch did.Â
My family calls me M&M for short. It's a silly nickname to me because I hate M&M's. Just give me a pack of Now & Laters, colored pencils, and a sketchbook, and I will be in Paradise!Â
My grammy calls me Crybaby. She says that I whined every day of the first three years of my life. I was just a baby. I can't explain my constant whining. Maybe someone was secretly feeding me M&M's, and I didn't like the idea! Lol 😆
Guess what? I have a new hobby! I play the piano, Grammy's old blue piano, to be exact. Every evening after dinner I kick off my shoes and go to the land of Oz with my piano playing. Grammy always moves her plants from around me when I play because she says that I sound like a dolphin with a sore throat who is in labor and that my piano screeching could make them sick, but I never pay Grammy any mind. I am going to be a famous concert pianist one day; just watch me!
