Ch 15: Curiosity
Isabella
December 21st, 2024- Woodside Motel- 3:02 AM
My eyes popped open. The room was dark, except for the nearby kitchenette's night light. I felt warm and tired.
Did I fall asleep when Dylan was...?
A blush crept across my cheeks. I can't believe I allowed a man to touch me like that.
Hell, I'm surprised that I allowed a 'psycho cannibal' to touch me.
The sad thing is, he's a monster, yet he's treated me more humanely than my family did.
Yes, that includes Mommy. She stood by for years as Daddy beat me and manipulated my actions. Molding me into the perfect daughter.
Dylan was, by far, the best thing that's ever happened to me. Not only did he save me from the jaws of a cannibal, but he freed me from my oppressive household.
After all that, he tended to my injuries, then pleasured me beyond my wildest dreams.
It's strange, you know? I barely knew him, but I felt safe and treasured with Dylan.
Not even my friend Marlena made me feel like that.
Since I was young, I dreamt of a man sweeping me off of my feet and worshipping the ground I walked on. That didn't happen.
However, I did bag a monster who worshiped my body as if it were a holy temple. And that's a million times better than my juvenile delusions!
I tried to leave the bed, but I couldn't. Something was holding me under the plush floral covers.
Rolling over, I saw what it was: Dylan sleeping, with his arms wrapped around my waist.
He was freshly showered; hair slightly damp, face free of grime or blood, and a crisp pine tar scent covered his skin.
Without thinking, my hands touch his face, neck, and chest. Dear God, he's all muscle!
My hands continued their path down his stomach and discovered something... salacious.
Dylan's naked under the comforter.
Oh, my God!
Girl, calm down! The man just ate you out like a papaya. Of course he's naked!
Taking a deep breath, I nodded.
She's right. It's normal for him to be naked after our activities. Plus, he showered, so there's that.
"You feel something that you like, Isabella?" Dylan mumbled. I gasped at his sudden question.
He pulled me closer; his breath tickled my ear as he whispered, "Curiosity killed the cat, darling. Remember that."
I swallowed sharply and replied, "But didn't satisfaction bring it back?"
Dylan chuckled, kissing my neck. "I'm sure that you're plenty satisfied, don't you?"
My pulse quickened as I answered, "Y-yes, I am."
His lips found mine. Claiming them with a searing kiss that made my toes curl.
A familiar pressure was building between my thighs, but Dylan didn't 'fix' it. Instead he ended the kiss, pushed my head into his chest and commanded, "Sleep, darling."
"But I-" I tried to argue.
Dylan silenced me with his thumb.
"I can smell your desire. Once we've rested, I'll take care of it. Deal?" he murmured, his eyes hooded with lust.
My cheeks flushed as I nodded.
He's a man of his word, so if he said he'll take care of it, he will.
Comfortable with this knowledge, I nuzzled his muscular pectoral and fell asleep.
Where neither dreams nor nightmares plagued my mind.
After all, why be afraid? My 'monster' will keep me safe.
7:04 AM
Hours later, we both awoke to knocking at the door. Dylan, cautious as ever, tossed his clothing on, grabbed a hunting knife from his duffle bag, and answered the door.
When he forced the door open, a startled senior woman stood there. She was carrying a box of food and supplies.
"Oh my! What a way to greet someone!" She gasped, almost dropping the box.
Dylan slipped the knife into his belt loop. "Sorry, I'm a tad overprotective." He took the box from her. "Please, come in. It's freezing outside."
She dashed inside, shaking off the frigid air. "I figured you and your lady friend were hungry by now, so I grabbed some easy breakfast fixin's." Her eyes locked on me. "Oh, she's awake! Praise the Lord she's alright!"
I giggled. "Yeah, I'm doing great." I couldn't get up and greet her properly as I'm still naked. "Sorry, I'm not decent, or I would hug you."
The lady waved her hand nonchalantly. "Don't worry about that, you just stay warm. Have you tried on the night dress yet?"
"No, I've been... preoccupied." I mentioned, watching Dylan unload the box.
She winked. "Dear, I understand. He's handsome and I bet is a devil in the sheets."
My cheeks flushed as she said this. Fuck, does she know what we did?
"I might be old, but I'm not dead!" she laughed, extending her hand to me. "Name's Margaret, what's yours?"
Uh oh, I can't tell her my real name, or she might report it to the police. And I can't use 'Emma' either, that connects me to the adoption center, and that's a whole can of chaos.
Pushing my fear aside, I came up with a random name, "I'm Elise. And that's my boyfriend, Deacon."
Dylan looked over his shoulder and winked in approval.
Whew, I did good.
"Wonderful to meet you, Elise." Margaret remarked with a kind smile. "I'll leave you two be. I'm sure you're ravenous at this point. Oh, Deacon, there's a hot plate and a frying pan in one of the drawers "
Margaret walked to the door and waved. "Bye, if you two need anything else, just call!"
Then she left.
Both of us released a breath that we didn't know we were holding.
"That was... intense." I said, sliding out from under the covers. "Um, where's the clothing she mentioned?"
Dylan nodded to a trash bag in the corner. "In there. Don't take too long, you need to eat."
I bit my bottom lip and nodded. "Okay."
Quickly, I located it, and tugged the soft flannel nightdress over my head. It's grossly oversized and looked like a lumberjack's wet dream, but it was comfortable and warm.
Watching Dylan make eggs and toast on the hot plate, I sat at the small table.
Curiosity got the better of me, so I questioned, "Do you eat normal food?"
He chuckled. "I'm human, you know. My body needs nutrients too."
Fumbling with my thumbs I replied, "It's just that... you said you consumed people, like those other guys, and Daddy."
Scraping the eggs and bread out of the frying pan, he admitted, "I have eaten it in the past. Not as much these days, though."
Then, I asked the million dollar question: "Why do you do it? If not for food, is it like a fetish, or...?"
Dylan brought our breakfast over on a paper plate and set it down in front of me. "Eat. I'll answer your questions afterward."
"Why not before?" I inquired, genuinely confused.
He sat down across from me and grinned. "The truth might make your appetite disappear."
