"You won't get away with this" Annabelle breathed, her nostrils flaring as she spoke. "You know this is wrong" she added, as if it was going to change her mind.
"Your pleas fall on deaf ears" he simple stated, turning back to the laptop he now had in his possession. "The world's going to be better off for what I'm doing, and I think you know that" he added with a wicked grin.
"Wait! Stop!" she yelled, trying to approach him, but felt a strong, painful blow to her chest. There was only one thing to accept now; defeat.
