Of all the ways that Grant Singley could have brought his mind to anything he invented a simple figure. It was the dollar sign that had souble strokes. The difference was that he made the symbol horizontal.

“But you just made it sideways,” his friend Conroy Nettles remarked.

“I’m going to file a patent for it.”

“That’s going to be a looong shot, sir,” Nettles said. "Use that money to file a patent on another invention.”

“I’m telling you that I can use this as a way of creating a cryptocurrency,” Singley proclaimed.

“Don’t let it ruin you,” Nettles said.
