In her novel, Ms. Kaye successfully portrays two broken people bound to each other through their love of their late brother and friend. These two are so undeniably perfect for each other but each has to battle their own demons. Travis Cross, like all of the author’s male protagonists holds a special place in my heart <3, his sweet and lovable behaviour towards Brianne is enough to make any woman fall crazy in love with him. I loved reading Brianne’s narrative and watching the two’s love story unfold before me. This coming of age story definitely has laugh out loud moments and parts where you have to have tissues at the ready too
