What if …

What if I told you the boogeyman was real?

What if I told you the bump in the night you heard as a child wasn’t a figment of your imagination?

What if I told you the shadow you saw didn’t belong to you, but in fact it belonged to the thing that creeps behind you at time’s preying on your weakness, waiting, watching …

What if …

What if i told you the tune that you hum, when you're all alone isn’t the same tune you thought it was all along, but in fact it is a tune that was programed into you by the ones that watch to keep you safe from the escapades of everything you thought you should be afraid of …

What if …

What if I told you that the image is real?

What if I told you that your fears are justified?

What if i told you, you have every right to sleep with the light because in the dark there is something lurking, searching, waiting … wanting?

What if …

What if I told you, your greatest fear all along has been that which you keep bottled inside.

The angst, the loathing, all that is brooding.

The mood swings, the depression, the loneliness, the silence.

All this time you’ve been biting your tongue, hiding your face, desperate to escape the place that you once felt safe because the boogeyman, which from whom you hide is the boogeyman you keep buried inside.

The bad man that lurks desperately, seeking the light on his face, the creature that broods with a chilling stare in his gaze, the one that keeps you from looking at your reflection in the mirror, because his image has begun to surface clearer.

What if …

What if I told you the boogeyman is real.

What if I told you, the monster you fear is buried deep within you?

What if I told you that you are your very own nightmare and the voices you hear are deep within you?

What if I told you that the tune you hum is not a tune that soothes you with comfort, but rather a tune that soothes your inner demons and keeps them at bay, a tune that calms their very reason for mischief and lets you live to see another day.

What if i told you that the reason you fear, is because you yourself are the reason for fear

What if I told you that the monster you hide has come out to play because today you chose to skip the tune and decided to pretend instead and now he lurks inside of your head, under your bed, waiting, watching and preying on your weakness.

What if …

What if …

What if I told you the reason you see these images that are displayed isn’t caused by a neurological problem, or a glitch in the matrix, but in fact a rift between worlds, the spiritual and the physical?

And while you may not believe in the things i say, and you may think to yourself he may be a little crazed, hindsight is 20/20 and you my friend have been awakened.

All your life just like i, since a child, you saw the shadow’s and you heard the words, you felt the presence but you were protected, but now in adolescence, that protection that once kept you has been broken and all that happened led you to relive the memories which manifested themselves within again into the physical, bringing you to believe that you see what isn’t there, but in reality it always has and now that your innocents is perverted you are alert to the things that go bump in the night, and the boogeyman stands by your side, no longer waiting, no longer watching, simply preying on your very essence

What if …

What if I told you that the monster in your head was the true narrative of your existence?

What if I told you the boogeyman was real?

But I did, do you not remember? Are you still pretending?

Well hear me clearly, the boogeyman is real!

The boogeyman is in your room!

The boogeyman no longer stands by your side!

The boogeyman is you!

And tonight my friend we feast with teeth that shall pierce the flesh of innocents, tonight my friend we begin again, we become the nightmare that lives in the heads of those whom sing till they forget, and then we can consume.
